A bit close to the road for my taste, but we did see wildlife on the property almost every day.

Thank you, Scott, for your 5-star review left when you checked out. It is disheartening to learn this review is 4-star and you didn’t care for its location. As the listing states, it’s centrally located on County Road 106 and in a neighborhood (very common for the small town of Mentone) very close to where many festivals are held at Moon Lake Village. It’s actually more secluded in the woods than many homes, and we work hard to provide accurate photos and even a property video in the listing. We’re glad you enjoyed all of the wildlife - thank you for visiting Mentone :)

Wonderful!!!

We loved this cabin so much!! It was centrally located, close to everything we wanted to see and do, but felt like it was in the middle of the woods. Private and beautiful. We didn’t cook but there was a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great outdoor space. Will definitely be back!!!

The Perfect Weekend Getaway!

This cabin was exactly what my husband and I needed for a little weekend getaway! It was so cozy, clean and tucked away peacefully. The screened-in back porch was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee and time with Jesus! The location was close enough to explore the charming town of Mentone and dine at The Wildflower Cafe-only about 3 miles away! The cabin had everything we needed and more! If you’re looking for a relaxing place to unwind, I highly recommend Time Falls Cabin!

Lovely cabin with wooded hiking trail

The Time Falls cabin was very comfortable and had lots of room for us all. The interior furnishings and finishes were very good and the front covered porch was excellent for morning and evening relaxing, listening to the birds and deer sightings too. We appreciated the 3rd bathroom near the living area also. There was generous parking as well and we would highly recommend this cabin for your getaway to Lookout Mountain.

Definitely Peaceful

Loved the cabin and prefect layout for 2 couples. The screen porch was the best place for evening chats. Everything was in perfect order when we arrived. Did not need anything but food.. However not familiar with the NEST we had heat a couple nights instead of air!! Finally googled the instructions and all was well!

Highly recommend!

We found this place after arriving in town and being disappointed by the property we had booked a week earlier. From booking to check-in, the whole process took only about 20 minutes and was incredibly easy. After an 11-hour drive and a stressful experience with our original accommodation, walking into a clean, fresh-smelling home was such a relief. We immediately felt comfortable and able to relax after a long day on the road. The host was responsive, helpful, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house was clean, welcoming, and exactly what we needed. We are very grateful to have found this place on such short notice and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Our stay was AMAZING!

What an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we felt completely relaxed. The cabin is tucked perfectly into the woods, giving you that peaceful “away from it all” feeling while still being incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The setting is beautiful — tall trees everywhere, quiet surroundings, the perfect little outdoor area to sit around a fire, and a screened in porch off both bedrooms! Awesome! The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Every detail made it feel warm and inviting. The Infinity game unit was great. We had never seen one and had so much fun playing (and me winning lol). This was the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and simply breathe. We made wonderful memories here and already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, cozy retreat in the woods! 🌿✨

Very comfortable beds. I loved the sheets and comforter so much I looked them up and bought some for myself. Clean and peaceful front porch.
