The location was great and the yard and patio was perfect for relaxing and letting our dog play in the yard. James checked in on us multiple times during our stayRecommend staying here. We will do it again

Great location with allYou need for a great local stay. Quick walk to the water and great people watching.Easy and quick drive to EI or that state park, which are both beautiful. All you need is at the house.

If you are looking for a clean, pet friendly and walking distance to local gathering spots with entertainment this is the place to book! We have stayed here twice in the last 3 months. I give 30 stars to the host and the home. Absolutely terrific!

The property was perfect great location absolutely beautiful neighborhood. Don't be scared of the duplex never heard the people next door or any neighbors either. Host and his wife was perfect to work with recommend it totally and our dog loved it. Very cozy and comfortable. Incredible stay.

Loved everything about the property! It was in a great location, clean, and quiet. The host was very easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful as well. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations for our first visit to the area.

Nice quiet accommodation in the heart of the historic district of Swansboro. Easy walking distance to multiple restaurants and the town lives up to its slogan as the “friendliest town”, as multiple residents waved and spoke as we walked our dog. Host is great, very helpful if you need it, otherwise lets you enjoy, not annoy. Excellent instruction sheet about the area and stuff you need to know. Perfect size for a couple or family with 1 or 2 small kids.

This place was fantastic! Very clean and accommodating, the outside was as clean as the inside. It has a vintage look and feel but updated very well. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute here and the location is perfect for walking and exploring Swansboro. The host are easy to communicate with and were very thoughtful prior to check in. Highly recommend staying here and I certainly will be back.

We traveled with our daughter and our Golden Retriever. This house is perfect for families! It is stocked with literally everything—even beach towels and chairs! Plus, the location is fantastic. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk away you could grab fresh bagels for breakfast, get ice cream, or enjoy live music at a waterfront bar in the evening. Emerald Isle is dog-friendly, so our Golden got to enjoy the beach too, and the outdoor hot-water shower made it easy to rinse off the salt water after we got back. We highly recommend this beautiful house!

Cozy ,clean , nicely updated one bedroom one bath that sleeps up to four . Very comfortable King size bed , freshly updated bathroom with double showerheads . Well equipped kitchen and dining area for six comfortably. Large L shaped couch in living room for TV viewing. Nicely done millwork throughout the house , craftsmanship was noticed and appreciated. Covered side porch with seating , along with gas grill is very accommodating. House sits in the heart of historical downtown Swansboro, within walking distance of the waterfront shops and restaurants. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again . Great neighborhood.

First off, the host is a 20/10. Great communication and accommodations. Went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us in multiple ways. The place is very spacious and perfect location. Couple blocks to dinner, drinks, views and downtown Swansboro. Very clean, well put together and quiet.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The property is perfect for walking a few blocks to shops and restaurants as well as to sit and watch boats and wildlife. The duplex itself was very comfortable and well thought through, with great attention to detail. The outside patio was wonderful to sit and relax. Our host was great to communicate with and always quick to respond to anything that came up. The property was well suited for our family of 4, with no one feeling cramped. We stayed at many different rentals in the area and by far this was our favorite!

Sending a HUGE thank you to James for an incredible place to stay!! Not only was the home super clean and comfy it was stocked with all the essentials from home for daily living! Our dogs felt right at home as well! I highly recommend as a place to stay as it is located within walking distance from the historic district. Which we found to really enjoy for food and drinks and live music. A friendly atmosphere but quiet.James is an amazing host greeting us with a dear guest letter which included favorite things to do, places to eat, safety items..etc! And was always available if needed or if we had questions. I would give this stay a 15 out of 10! Just terrific! Thank you again, Carrie and Bobby

The house was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was perfect; we were able to walk downtown to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and waterfront, including the Fourth of July festivities. When my son got tired of the crowds, we were able to enjoy the fireworks (through some tree branches in a neighbor's yard) from the backyard! The host was responsive and welcoming, making the entire process seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable home base to enjoy the sun and sand.

This is the best place to stay. The host is wonderful. The place is in a great location walking distance to Swansboro. Willow,our dog loves it too. We will be back. Very quite and peaceful.
