Cute little cottage up in the woods. Beautiful drive. It’s a little bit far from downtown Palo Alto but it was cozy and the host is very accommodating..

This was the perfect place for my stay. Quiet, peaceful, and had everything I needed. I was attending an event at Stanford for four days and the drive was easy back and forth. So nice to be nestled in the woods!!!

I had a lovely stay at Rebecca’s cottage while passing through town. Everything was comfortable and beautiful with plenty of sunlight and a quiet area. Thank you Rebecca for offering such a wonderful spot!

Right when I arrived I was greeted by the host! She assisted with parking and offered to help with any extra bags I had. The cottage was perfectly spotless clean! The bed and linens were really comfy! Rebecca checked in the second night as the temp dropped to make sure I had all necessities, which I did due to her wonderful letter! 10/10 would recommend to friends and family and if I was ever in the area would rebook!

This was a gorgeous and peaceful oasis, tucked away in the redwood trees of northern California. It has everything a single traveller or a couple could need and is nestled in a beautiful garden behind a house. The host was responsive and attentive and was quick to respond.

A peaceful little spot in the hills of Woodside! It’s a cozy little retreat was great for me as a solo traveler. Theres a lot of personality here to love…beautiful garden, bubbling pond and cute vintage touches create such a nice vibe. I was very comfortable, and the host was so friendly and thoughtful..One tip for fellow travelers: pick up groceries on your way in, especially if you’re arriving at night. Coffee and tea were provided, but you’ll want to bring whatever you else you need for the morning or snacks. I arrived at night and wished I’d planned better ahead!

What a treat to stay in such a peaceful location while I was visiting my granddaughter at Stanford Medical Center. It’s 15 minutes from city Center yet feels so remote and peaceful with lots of trees and they truly care for their property. Thank you, I will return!!

Adorable little cottage in an awesome location. You can go out and explore nearby trails in the Santa Cruz woods, take yourself to Alice's, or enjoy some peaceful time in the nice garden. Despite the garden space being shared, I can confirm that we had enough privacy as the cabin is tucked away behind greenery. Rebecca was very kind, thoughtful and communicative. This property is ideal for nature lovers looking for a small place on the frugal side to spend the night in close contact with the surrounding forests, but would rather not battle with the cold and other complications that would come with camping. It was very warm and cozy. The price was right for us because that was exactly what we were looking for!

Beautiful, peaceful location with lovely surroundings. Very convenient for Woodside horse park. The cottage is perfect for 1 person. It was a little tight for the 2 of us, I would definitely stay again.

The charm of this cottage cannot be overstated. I was familiar with the area-I knew the redwoods and oaks, the temperate climate, the charm of houses (and cottages) hidden in the hills. This place was all of that. My hopes were for a cozy nights’ stay after a dinner the night before in nearby Woodside. We arrived after dark, so it was hard to see the garden, but the cottage had everything we needed: cozy sitting room, modern bathroom, and comfy bed. It also came with a charming cat, named Colette, who jumped right into our business, but was a-okay when it was bedtime and she was sent outside. In the morning, Rebecca, our proprietor, offered to let us lounge past the usual check out time…. It was extremely tempting, as the garden outside was dense with interesting plantings (even a pond with fish!). Alas, we had an early morning destination, so couldn’t take advantage of the generous offer (or the eggs n’ butter left for us). Take note, the cottage is small, perfect for one or two-who-like-each-other. The kitchen is well stocked, and the aesthetic is a perfect mix of new and (excellent) vintage collected pieces . Would definitely stay here again if we visited the area another time. Lots of cyclists on the road going past the house…super fun to see that.
