This place exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, there was tea and snacks set up for my partner and me. They even took into account my partner's allergies! It was very clean and had all the amenities you would find at a nice hotel (robes, slippers, earth-friendly shampoos and soaps, complimentary coffee and snacks, even some wired headphones). Here is a breakdown of my experience as 2 women staying in an unfamiliar area.
Pros:
- Sensor light at the front entrance
- Full kitchen for cooking with nearly all necessary utensils (I do wish there would have been a spatula and a pair of scissors, but it really wasn't a big deal)
- Quiet area
- Grocery and a few department stores were about a 10-minute drive
- Small outside seating area at the front entrance
Cons:
- The location is in one of the safest cities in CA, however, I would have still liked to have blinds or some type of thicker curtains over the windows.
Suggestions:
- I was not accustomed to cooking with an electric stove, so I set off the fire alarm one day when cooking because I had the heat too high
- I am 5'7", so the ceiling height was not an issue for me, however, as a previous guest mentioned, if you are taller than the 6' range, you may be a little uncomfortable.
- The neighborhood was very walkable if you just wanted to go for a stroll, however, I highly suggest renting a car if you need to run errands. For us, it was a cheaper option due to the ride-share and Instacart strikes.
- The laundry machines are through the door by the bed. You just need to ask the Owner to unlock the door.
