The Space:

This brand-new cabin overlooks the gleaming shoreline of Presque Isle Lake. Here, fun in the sun is inevitable for visitors of all ages! During your stay, splash and play on the home's shallow, sandy waterfront. Fishers will appreciate the area's excellent musky fishing. And public boat launch access is located less than a mile away. During the cooler months, ride along the area's great snowmobile trails, or head up the road to Big Snow Resort.



Inside, the cabin's rustic/modern interior showcases itself in the vaulted ceilings, ample oversized windows, and wilderness-themed mementos. Boasting an open-concept layout, the living room, dining area, and kitchen come together in perfect unison. Sit back and relish lake views from the soft sofas in the living room, or show off your culinary skills in the full kitchen amongst the stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space. When extra warmth is needed, turn on the gas fireplace.



The bedrooms are highlighted by warm color palettes, plush quilts, and natural lighting. For your complete convenience, be sure to utilize the home's private washer/dryer when your clothes need to be refreshed.



As evening falls, head back outside and fire up the gas grill while watching the vibrant hues of the sunset meet the water. End another day on vacation gathered around the firepit, indulging in gooey s'mores.

Beautiful property and cabin in a super quiet location. Only flaw was a dishwasher full of unwashed dishes when we arrived, but that was easily remedied. VueStay was very responsive to our communications.

It was a very nice cabin, It just felt like they were not expecting any visitors. The driveway was not plowed and traipsing through 2 ft of snow with all of your gear 75 yd to the cabin was not fun.

Very Cozy, clean and cute place. There was one problem, There is only a path to the door. We had to walk thru deep snow to get to the door. Luckily we had a shovel along with us since there was no shovel at the place.

This cozy cabin has beautiful views of Presque Isle Lake and all the beauty of the surrounding area. We enjoyed the peaceful feeling of this well built cabin. Conveniently located right in the middle of Vilas county wilderness for us to explore all the natural beauty

This house on the lake is even better than the pictures show. Despite all the nearby trails and activities, we looked forward to returning each day.

This cabin was very clean and well maintained. The lake setting gave us a great view of Presque Isle lake during the day and the stars at night. Wildlife in the front yard included eagles fishing and plenty of deer. We'd stay again and bring our kayaks.

Cute, Clean, and Comfortable!

We came here to celebrate our first year marriage anniversary and we enjoyed the stay, the lake view from the cabin and the lakefront was beautiful, as well as the wildlife. Very peaceful! Full kitchen with cooking utensils etc! We did call guest services because we were trying to figure out the lock, before you arrive read the instructions about the lock because we trying to figure it out in the dark! Overall, we were very please!

Quiet vacation

The house is great and I met the owners one day while they were at their house next door. They were very pleasant and helpful. The only downfall of having Vacasa is that there is nobody local to help out. The cabin got a new keypad because it would not unlock for us with the code given. The handyman lived an hour away and gave us a new keypad because it was giving a lot of guests problems. He was very nice and didnt seem bothered that he got called out. Overall we had a nice stay and the dock was nice to have. It was a quiet vacation that we needed.

Amazing Sunrise

This place is very clean and is perfect for a small family or couples getaway. Great view over the lake. Quiet and relaxing. Parking is not very convenient but workable. We arrived after dark and there was no lighting leading us to the rental. I’ll still give it five stars though! Wished we could’ve spent more time there but we had a lot of activities planned. We’d stay again and bring the boat for some fishing. The lake appears to be super clean!

2/10 Terrible

Don't let the pretty view fool you - stay away!!!

The view was the only thing I liked about this cabin. The water smells like rotten eggs, the yard was unkept, the dishwasher blew a fuse, the tv is mounted so high that your neck cramps, the beds were adequate, and there were no salt/pepper/spices in the house. There are some stairs that go down to the lake but there's no beach and no pier. Don't count on ANY help from the Vacasa company itself - we had multiple problems with the door code and no help from the company, just help from local manager. There are so many other options in this area that you can skip this nighmare.

Thank you for your feedback, Cathy. While we're glad you enjoyed the view, we're sorry to hear that other aspects of your stay fell short of expectations. This was the first time we've received any mention of an odor in the water. The cabin is on a well system that is routinely monitored, and the owner has been notified to ensure everything remains in proper working order. Regarding the lawn, due to a wet spring, mowing was delayed. We also try to avoid mowing during guest stays to maintain a quiet and peaceful environment. The yard was mowed promptly after your departure. We were not made aware of the dishwasher issue during your stay and only learned about it afterward. This has since been addressed to ensure it's no longer a concern. The TV is mounted above the fireplace, which is the only viable location based on the cabin’s layout. We no longer provide spices or condiments for sanitary reasons. With regard to lake access, there are stairs leading to the water and a pier was in place during your stay. However, it was mistakenly installed about 20 feet from its intended location. Once identified, this was corrected. We’ve updated the listing to more accurately describe the shoreline as a hard, shallow, sandy-bottom waterfront with gradual entry. We appreciate the feedback and will continue working to improve the guest experience. We'd be happy to welcome you back for a smoother and more enjoyable visit.

This was the a very frustrating experience for us. We got an email that we could check in early so we headed over only to find out the lock would not work at all. We called your customer service number and was on the phone with her for 15 mins trying to open the door. She assured us that it would open at the 4 pm regular check in. We came back to drop off some things and go to the reservation for dinner. The door would still not open. This was the 2nd time we called the support line. We were on the phone with her for a long time trying different codes and looking for a non existent key box. She said she would contact the local manager and send him over. After waiting for over 20 mins we called for a 3rd time to check on how long we would be waiting. We found out that the 2nd operator did not contact the local manager directly but sent an email. After telling this new operator to call the local management and to give us an estimated time of arrival. We were then told that is not information to be given out. We asked several time to give the local person our number to call us directly. At this point we had to cancel our reservations for dinner. The local manager showed up at 5:20 pm an hour after we should have gotten into our cabin and 4 hours after the early check-in text. Turns out the text had the wrong code. We had to call local manager again because the lock/code was bad. The water is sulfur so it smells like farts. Not much good in this cabin.
