Need to advertise 23 steps to the room. We managed the stairs well but many seniors would struggle.

This is a great rental in a great location. It was very quiet and clean. There is a coin operated laundry on site that is available for guest use. The unit is basically one room with a GIANT bed and a well stocked kitchen. Perfect for making your own meals. This is very cozy for two people. There are stairs to get up to the unit and on street parking when available, otherwise you have to drive down to a close by parking lot. We had no problems getting a street spot. We could walk to the water and various eating establishments. Would love to stay here again.

Great stay! The property was as described, very close to Lake Superior and other places we wanted to go! Hosts were very responsive to questions and communication clear about check in and out process. Will definitely stay there again!

My husband and I rented this unit 9/20-9/23/26, but only stayed for about 12 hrs. The rental (and other units) are above a vacant street level business- I was able to see in this space through a wall with large holes. Next is what caught us off guard. At the bottom of the staircase (the building entrance), we were OVERCOME with the STENCH OF MOLD. Immediately upon entering the building, I had the feeling of not wanting to breathe due to the odor of mold. I have NEVER been sensitive to the odor of mold, have never had mold related issues or complaints of this concern. Upon entering the unit, it was as shown as in the pics but on a much smaller scale, which was fine. The unit appeared mostly clean but rough with tiles missing in multiple areas of the bathroom, a very old, dusty window AC, and a window on the ceiling of the bathroom (yes, the ceiling) full of dirt and bugs. Still overcome with the smell of mold, we left until 9:30p. I found an N95 mask in my bag from a previous international trip and slept all night wearing this. This experience was miserable. We left at 6a and sent Nick a message upon leaving. We stayed at another rental for the rest of our trip (gracious hosts). Nick did not offer a refund, nor did we ask. I will be reporting this to the MN Dept of Health and to VRBO. BEWARE!
