Gooseberry Falls State Park, just 13 minutes away, features spectacular waterfalls, hiking trails, and a visitor center with interpretive displays. Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, approximately 20 minutes away, offers scenic views and historical insights into the iconic lighthouse. Tettegouche State Park, stretching over two miles of Lake Superior’s shore, includes six inland lakes, waterfalls, and trails for hiking and cross-country skiing. George H. The apartment is located on the second floor only accessible by stairs. There is keypad access to the building and unit. Parking is located in the back behind the building.

Parking is available on the street in front of the building or there is a public parking lot behind the building (not in the restaurant staff parking lot). The lot runs between 5th St. and 7th St., along South Ave., kitty-corner from Castle Danger Brewery.
