Rustic but comfortable and convenient to Sequoia National Park. The road to the cabin is just inside the South Gate. The cabin was clean and everything was as advertised. Great place to stay!

It's an older small rustic cabin, but in a pinch it does the job, clean sheets, a/c , shower and a small living room!For its convenient location inside the park it makes it good when exploring the park most of the day!The person in charge is quick to respond to any questions you might have!

Cozy small house that have everything in it. Very clean, but takes a while for AC to cool down the house as outside temperature was HOT. Overall, love this small house.

We enjoyed staying here for the location and uniqueness of the property. We were able to access sights in the park as well as a market and restaurants in Three Rivers. The host communicated everything we needed to know. Directions were easy and the key was easy to access. We were told it was rustic but there were a few items to fix - the bathroom faucet handle was loose; the toilet was very wobbly; the smell mentioned by others was present and slightly concerning; the couch was tiny and not really comfortable to sit on; and there were ants. But we slept comfortably, we were able to cook a meal, we had towels, and we loved the location. A few fixes, a more comfortable couch and some ant traps and this would be 5 stars.

Place was perfectly equipped. Bed was very comfortable. The driveway to get into the place was difficult and the place definitely had a bad smell to it. It was nice to be right in the park. Laura Elle was great to work with! Thank you!

The cabin is nice and has everything you might need. The only thing we did not like was the smell in the main room ( doable but uncomfortable).Other than that all was well!55 min driving, from the cabin to the General Sherman Tree, so it is good.

It was sufficant for our needs. It was nice to have our own space to spread out. Nice location to be in the park! Downside is there was mouse dropping and a horrible smell of a dead mouse in the bedroom. The outside around doors was covered with sticker burrs, so they were all over our shoes, so make sure to remove your shoes at the door! Drive down to the cabin was steep so make sure you have a good vehicle.

After an initial rough start with communication, it got better and the stay was good. Location is excellent. Right inside the gates by the sign. Cozy cabin. Downstairs bed comfy. Upstairs futons a bit hard so bring a mattress topper or something for the kids. Non working oven. That was disclosed ahead of time and did not matter to us. We couldn’t figure out got to turn on some lights. Good WiFi. No TV but lots of movies and a DVD player. But after being outside in the parks all day it was a nice quiet place to come back to and get some sleep.

Location was great. Host was adequate. Instructions on how to get to the property the first time could be improved. The house is small but felt that was clearly communicated. The house was surface level clean as you would expect. But they have a major mouse problem. It wreaked of mice and the first morning I was up at 4 am because I hadn’t adjusted to the time change, I caught a mouse on the counter of the kitchen getting into my kids snacks. There is mouse poison out but obviously not working very well. I live in the country and get the struggle of dealing with mice but it’s a bad problem here. I also took the front panel off of the two window ac units and the dust was thick in the coils. Basically dust bunnies clogging 1/8th of the coil. Again surface level clean and the bedding was nice and clean, but if we had more than two nights booked we would have left after one night. It has so much potential but we won’t be staying here again.
