Very nice place to stay. Location was really nice and the pool in the lake was beautiful. There were plenty of kitchen supplies for our family of 5. Beds were comfy and the 2 bathrooms made getting cleaned up after a long day very simple. The water pressure was also amazing.

Loved the screened in porch and spent much time enjoying that part of the house. Everything was clean and great for our family of 6. There is no central A/C but window units kept it fairly cool. It’s a short walk, or even shorter drive, to all the amenities at Lake Junaluska, so the location was great too. There is no beach area to enjoy, but one was pictured in the rental pics, so that was a bit misleading.

Quaint Hideaway

Quaint hideaway on Lake Junaluska. Property was well appointed and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend.

Wouldn’t recommend for a weekly stay.

House is in a good location for a short walk down to the conference buildings. Washer and dryer are not adequate for a stay longer than a few days. WiFi signal is shady…the TV kept disconnecting from the WiFi. The kitchenware and cookware is very old and rusty and stained. If you stay here, you will need to bring your own pots, pans, and casserole dishes to cook with and Tupperware to store leftovers. I recommend this place after some updates are made and the house is deep cleaned.

Hood Upper - apartment

Spacious older apartment with MCM decor. Plenty of windows for natural light. Generous sized rooms and two nice bathrooms with good basic supplies - soaps, toilet paper & plenty of towels. Great screened-in porch could be extra sleeping area & allowed for wonderful breezes. Plenty of seating in living area. Comfortable beds. Lacks a dishwasher and the stove/oven is old but works. No vent for overhead stove. Electric baseboard heat kept us comfortable. No A/C but did not need it in September. Would rent again.
