This VRBO was perfect for us. The location is beautiful and peaceful and we loved all the little extra activities provided onsite. The beds were very comfortable and the place very clean. The hosts were great and very responsive. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

The Owl's nest was above and beyond what I expected. It is such a unique place! It is so peaceful and quiet and the view is amazing! I really enjoyed having my morning coffee and just taking in the scenery. It is a great space to come back to and relax and be away from the bustle of the city. The Owl's nest is so cozy and there are so many fun touches. The hosts thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, even having puzzles and rainy day games. The hosts were so communicative and welcoming. I would definitely book a stay there again (and stay longer). We loved it!

An absolutely fantastic stay in Portland! We felt so safe and taken care of and the kids loved the chalk board. It truly felt like more than a vacation rental but more like Bed and Breakfast. Truly adorable and homey and the property was beautiful. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Loved this property very much! Very well taken care of and loved. An oasis right in the city. The owners are clearly thoughtful, sweet, joy seeking environmental lovers. The only slightly confusing aspect was communicating with the vrbo “host” and the actual property owners. The “host” was more demanding and far less flexible whereas the actual property owners were delightful and super responsive. If there could be a mainstreamed form of communication (ideally with just the real owners and hosts) rather than with both that would be ideal. Would totally love to visit again at some point! Definitely recommend.

I booked the Owl's nest for my grandson's graduation present. It was his first time visiting Oregon and he LOVED it.The Owl's Nest was the perfect place, with all the amenities provided for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. All the different sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful views. The hot tub was much needed after our hike on the Trail of 10 waterfalls hike.The host/owner Billy was such a pleasure to talk to.If/when we plan another trip to Oregon, we will definitely book again.Thank you, Billy and Carol for sharing.

The hosts are so friendly and make you feel welcome. This is me and my kids second year coming to the Owl's nest. We will definitely be back again! I can't say enough great things about this location. I suggest everyone comes and stays at least once..

A beautiful place in the forest, with superb amenities throughout the rental. In the city AND in the country, with interesting wildlife, quiet, and great views. Nice hosts and many fun things to do, in a well maintained downstairs apartment with full access to a gorgeous deck and large backyard. Comfortable and cozy, yet spacious. The hosts were welcoming when we arrived and then we had the backyard to ourselves to enjoy. We loved it and hope to vacation there again.

The two bedrooms were very beautiful, beds were comfortable and the Owls Nest was very well stocked up with light eating snacks which is a rarity. The hosts Bob and Carol Fox were available to help us out It was a very relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Owls Nest. It is clear that Billy and Carol have put a lot of thought, time and effort to make you feel welcome. Our flight was delayed 3 hours and we didn’t arrive until 1:00 am so we had no time to shop for groceries but we awoke to not just coffee but also eggs and bagels and cream cheese and had and half. All of the amenities described in the listing were very accurate and we were fortunate enough to have great weather to enjoy all of the ones outdoors. We have stayed at dozens of properties and Billy and Carol are by far the best hosts we have ever had the pleasure to rent from. We will be back for sure!

We were so happy with our accommodations at The Owl’s Nest. Billy and Carol could not have been more welcoming or more thorough in every detail of our stay. We really appreciated the thoroughly stocked kitchen, and the many forms of entertainment for our 9 year old, including board games, darts, corn hole, and her personal favorite, the rope swing! We definitely plan on staying here again for our next visit to Portland!

Great location

Loved the property, in the city without feeling like youre in the city. Also close to the airport and other attractions. Good communication with the owners. We wished we could have stayed longer!
