Modern mid century boho chic two bedroom apartment unit in a gorgeous private craftsman bungalow home built in 1910. The unit is spacious, cool and provides ample room for a cozy stay. You will find new appliances in both the bathroom and kitchen. Both bedrooms are outfitted with tempurpedic mattresses and clean linens and towels and accented with local Pendleton prints. Backyard is shared. We do have chickens in the backyard and if you like fresh eggs we are happy to drop off some off. There is a slight additional cost for pets and 5th guest. Please inquire.

Great Spot in NE Portland

A wonderful place to stay! There were only two of us but it easily accommodates four. Newly renovated, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need—even some eggs from the backyard chickens. We loved it and will definitely stay again when we return to Portland.

Super cute and cozy stay!

Great stay, super clean and had all the amenities we needed. Fan in the bathroom doesn’t work that well so we did have to air the place out with the windows but it’s a basement so that’s to be expected! Really great communication with the owner and super flexible with allowing an extra guest last minute. Definitely will stay here again!

Basement apartment

No mention that this is a basement apatment. I could hear people walking upstairs. Lockbox to get key was difficult to work. Bed very comfortable.

We loved staying here. It's a great neighborhood and they are such wonderful hosts. We had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

A lovely stay

It is a very comfortable, well decorated unit with a great kitchen. You need a flashlight better than a phone flashlight at night and a sticky lint brush. The couch sheds, and it was not enough to brush it off as it ended up on the floor and the legs of our pants. Enjoyed staying there.

Cute little hide away

Our stay was great. The property was very private even with being a basement apartment. The place was close enough to walk to most of the places we wanted to go to while staying in Portland! The neighborhood seemed safe. The host was very sweet as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Nicely appointed living space, very private. We were encouraged to recycle. And our host was very helpful and friendly. We even got some fresh pears from her tree! Very good experience which we hope to enjoy again the next time we are in Portland.

Cool decor, comfortable seating and sleeping, open concept, easy to find. Communication was great, and it was just enough space for 4 adults. We had a great visit!

Felt Right at Home

We had a great stay in Veronika's apartment! It was super comfortable and made us feel right at home. Even her lovely chickens that greeted us each time we came out, reminded us of our own! Based on the description, I was a little surprised by the dark basement feel at first, but the plentiful lighting and comfortable furnishings transformed the space. It had nearly every amenity we needed. Plus, the little backyard is lovely and the neighborhood is very conveniently located. We didn't have any issues with parking. Communication with Veronika was great, and she had excellent recommendations for our stay. If I had any suggestions for improvement, it would be better lighting along the side yard path - it was a bit difficult to navigate in the dark, so we armed ourselves with flashlights. Also, we missed having a full size coffeepot, or perhaps pods - took a while & made a mess trying to get 3 coffee drinkers going in the mornings with just a small press. Luckily, Starbucks is right at the end of the block!

My daughter and son had races at the cc near by and we needed a place to relax before races started. It was quiet and peaceful.

Fantastic

We stayed for 6 nights with our 22 year old daughters and recommend Veronika’s place wholeheartedly. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood but near to some great areas to explore, good restaurants in the Alberta area, but also an easy drive into central Portland. Everything was lovely and clean, the kitchen has everything you need and more and the beds are sooooo comfortable. The garden is a joy to spend time in, lots of beautiful shrubs and flowers, a lovely space to relax and watch the hummingbird. Veronika provided fresh eggs from the chickens for breakfast and was a super host, really responsive and great to chat to about the local area. Thanks Veronika, if we come back to Portland we’ll be in touch!
