Another reason to choose Helen is the approximately 24 minute drive to great wineries like Frogtown Cellars. This is one of the best wineries that we've visited and enjoyed great views and lunch.



Conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and attractions, you can easily explore the town of Helen Tubing and even rent a golf cart to cruise around in style. Enjoy the mountain views from the deck or patio, grill up a delicious meal on the gas grill, or relax in the hot tub under the stars.

The cabin was clean and cozy! Beautiful views from the back deck. Hot tub was amazing! Location was ideal, not far from town at all. Definitely recommend Hillside Cottage!

We had a very nice trip and enjoyed this property. The house was decorated for Christmas and had a lot of extras to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Family trip

This place was fantastic. Very clean, spacious and the description very accurate. Location is great being close to all the town activities and attraction, but still some distance to enjoy privacy. Would come back again any time!

When we arrived location was beautiful drive up a bit steep but beautiful. Arrived at house was stunning clean smelt amazing tv on ac set. Was definitely an amazing stay

The layout of this house was very good for our family. We appreciated the downstairs area for the kids. Exiting the parking area here is a bit challenging due to the configuration. I definitely would not attempt to walk into town. The distance is not bad but the incline going to the house is very steep. Overall we were happy with the stay.

Room for everyone!

The cabin was very clean and cozy. There was room for 14 people! This would be the perfect canin for a family reunion or a getaway with family and friends!

The process as a whole from booking, checking in, checking out, and communication throughout was extremely easy. I appreciated the host for his timely response to questions and accommodating when we had issues. I wanted to call two things to light:1) The shower in the master not working. Although it was able to get fixed, we were not able to shower for dinner on Friday night. This house only had two showers and with one being inoperable, this made for inconvenient process of getting ready Friday night. 2) The house was advertised as having a grill, however, both grills were extremely rusty and should have been cleaned prior to check in. I spent about an hour cleaning the rust off the grill so that it could be used. Most guests would have looked at this grill and decided it could not be used. Fortunately, I was able to clean it fairly well. In my opinion, the condition that the grill was in equated to not even having one. Essentially a key amenity of this house was not useable. Because of these two items, I would like to discus a reimbursement of 50 as an inconvenience fee. For us to not have access to two main amenities of the house, I believe this is fair compensation.

Girls Trip to Helen

We had so much fun in Helen! Highly recommend going for Oktoberfest. While the house is technically walkable to downtown distance-wise, I would not recommend doing so. It’s very steep, and the way back was daunting. The cabin was great and we had so much fun!

It was a pleasant stay overall.

It was a pleasant stay overall. but there were couple of downsides too. The grill was broken so we could not use it. The grilling was the main thing we planned but could not do. The griddle was too dirty which we had to spend one hour to clean it. Apart from these things, it was a good stay.

We had an awesome time celebrating my birthday with family!Location was perfect and Very close to town.The kitchen needs more silverware only a few forks and could use more pans for cooking in the oven.Nice appliances.Beds were comfortable and loved the screened in porch!
