The Space:

Wake up to sweeping views of Salt Lake City and the Oquirrh Mountains from this stylish mid-century modern retreat, just 15 minutes from the airport and minutes from downtown, ski slopes, and mountain trails.

You’ll be staying on the top floor of a bright, updated duplex, where comfort meets style. Inside you’ll find:

Three inviting bedrooms, two with plush king beds, one with double bunk beds (all Helix mattresses for dreamy sleep)

Two full bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and double vanity, the other with a tub/shower combo for a long soak after the slopes

A spacious living room designed for connection and relaxation, sink into the deep sectional (with queen sleeper), curl up by the electric fireplace, enjoy movie nights on the 75" Samsung TV, or take in sunset views through the picture windows

A fully stocked open kitchen with seating for eight, perfect for lingering dinners; a separate beverage fridge stocked with Spindrift adds a thoughtful touch

A dedicated workspace in one bedroom, because sometimes a bit of work sneaks into vacation

Step outside to ample patio space with lounge and dining furniture, or follow the wrap-around walkway to your private hot tub for six to eight, the perfect spot to soak under the stars after a day in the mountains.

What’s nearby: Downtown SLC, Temple Square, the Salt Palace, local breweries, award-winning restaurants, hiking trailheads, and world-class ski resorts, all within easy reach.

Extras you’ll love: Free off-street parking for up to two cars, in-unit washer/dryer, and the peace of mind of a well-cared-for space.

Guests enter via the stairs to the left of the parking spaces. Long-term tenants live in the downstairs unit, we kindly ask for respect toward their quiet enjoyment.

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the rightmost parking bay, the entire upstairs unit, and the upstairs deck with wrap-around walkway. The left parking bay, downstairs walkway, and backyard are reserved for downstairs residents.

Your private hot tub is available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, perfect for a morning soak with coffee or a starlit evening unwind. When you’re finished, please replace the cover so it stays warm and clean for your next dip.

The Neighborhood:

Rising above the Downtown and Central City districts, Capitol Hill has an independent, artistic, and unique vibe. Artisan coffee, craft beer, local restaurants, cathedrals, and open-minded residents give this neighborhood its' eclectic and historic character. Incredible views of the Utah State Capitol Building, Downtown SLC, Oquirrh mountains, and greater valley can be seen from trailheads, neighborhood walks, front porches, and back decks.

Getting Around:

Our mid-mod home is easily accessible by car, bicycle, or on foot. Free, off-street parking is available at the property. There are some steep streets in Capitol Hill, but perfectly manageable via car, bicycle, or foot. A handful of coffee shops and restaurants are less than a five minute drive from the property and within a 15-20 minute walk.

Other Things to Note:

Our hillside retreat occupies the top floor of a duplex. Guests are encouraged to relax, unwind, and enjoy their stay. To keep the space comfortable for everyone, pets, excessively loud music, and late-night parties are not permitted, and the hot tub is available only until 10:00 PM.=

The ironing board and iron are in the bunk room closet.

Infant amenities, including a high chair, pack ‘n play, changing pad, and a selection of toys and books, are also stored in the bunk room closet.
