North Shore Log Home near Lake Superior

Welcome to our North Shore cabin near Lake Superior! This has been a family project for a couple of years and we're now making it available to guests. It's built with logs so it's very cozy, heavy and quiet inside but still has all modern amenities. It's tucked into acreage near Lake Superior and while it is not directly on the shore, it is close. Also, it's just a few minutes to Two Harbors and 15 or so to Duluth.

IMPORTANT NOTE: To keep rates manageable, the rate here is for the house with just the King bedroom. If you want one or both of the other queen bedrooms (each $50/night), just message us once you're booked and we can easily add them.

Secluded cabin close to town. Very quite and comfy. Great place to use as a basecamp for the Northshore waterfall tour.

We had a great stay. We loved the privacy of the cabin, but also being close to trails, restaurants and bars. The cabin was very clean and inviting. We would stay again.

Great option for a weekend! Quiet location, beautifully built cabin! Basic amenities, wish the loft or main floor had a little more furniture for gathering together. 5 minutes to Two Harbors and easy drive from Duluth. Couple of notes - driveway is a bit steep and rocky - best to have an AWD vehicle over a low profile car. Also no shampoo or conditioner which is not listed as included and I forgot to look before we went so we had to grab from the SuperOne in Two Harbors.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was spotless, accurately reflected in the listing, and offered a peaceful, private setting that made it easy to relax. The location was perfect — just minutes from Lake Superior and the North Shore, with quick access to restaurants in Two Harbors and several nearby state parks. The host was excellent and made everything smooth from start to finish. Being able to bring my pet was an added bonus. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It is a lovely cabin! The host is very responsive! It is clean and beautiful. We could not see the lake from the cabin, but were minutes away.

I was a little disappointed when I got there the floors looked to be pretty old and cracked my socks kept getting stuck in the cracks. Also I had to buy a coffee pot the the first morning it took an hour and 45 minutes for the coffee pot to brew. So I had to go to Walmart and buy a coffee pot. And the pans were pretty old and Rusty so I could not cook any of my meals there we had to basically go out to eat every night except for a night I cooked burgers. I planned on using the grill that was featured but it was full of wood and pine needles probably from mice making nest in there so I didn't feel comfortable using it. For 1800 expected a little bit more accommodations that way.

Beautiful property close to two harbors very private location. Our dog enjoyed being off leash and not having to worry about getting hit by a car. The night sky is amazing. There is not any light pollution.
