Nestled against the Alton Bay waterline with the tall pines of Mount Major State Forest right behind, this delightful studio is the ideal place to enjoy a long and relaxing getaway with someone you love! After an afternoon on the water, you'll love coming back to spread out on the comfortable sofa to catch a good movie or show on the flatscreen TV. The kitchenette has a full-size refrigerator, counter space, and even a four-burner stove to help you prepare a delicious breakfast before heading out.



The Space:

You can enjoy your creation at the dining table with seating for three. You'll love taking your first cup of coffee out to the water to savor while the world wakes up around you, and the shared gas grills will make it easy to enjoy some delicious barbecue with friends on those hot summer days. Don't forget to take advantage of the free WiFi to post your best memories to your social media or download a good playlist to your device for a nice hot-weather hike. No Boats or trailers permitted on site.

Perfect spot

Quiet and tucked away, we jumped off the dock into the lake. Very clean. Easy check in and out. Would stay again for sure.

Perfection

This older hotel was just perfect. It was super clean and comfortable. The extra beach towels were a nice touch. The yard was very nice. The lake view and access were perfect. So enjoyed our stay!

SUPER Clean, classic, lakes region lodging. If you're into luxury resorts go somewhere else and leave places like this to the cool kids.

I highly recommend taking a dip at the dock. Refreshing after boating on a hot summer day. The clarity of the lake water is spectacular.

Basic, no frills

Quiet and tucked away from the crowds, these basic motel-style accomodations are perfect for those who'll spend most time out and about. Our children loved the on-site dock, which allowed for jumping in and cooling off. via the on-site dock. swdock

Rustic

I loved how it was steps from the water, no beach but you could sit on the dock or on the grass and still get into the water and float around if you wanted to or a great place to put in a kayak as well. I titled this rustic because there are not new flooring or updated walls there’s nothing wrong with what’s there it’s just very rustic as in wood paneling and carpeting just what you would see in the 1980s maybe but nothing wrong with it it was very clean

Once I figured out what unit I was in it was fine. Management was communicating through text and I never saw email that gave me unit number. Should either include it in text messages or use just email.

Visit the lake your grandparents did.

I adore 1950’s style motels. The nostalgia and the entire feel of this place. The rooms are clean and space is well designed. I must say, your cotton bedding is very nice and a great supply of bath towels. I have been coming here since I was knee high to a grasshopper (80’s) and I will continue to come for many more.
