This property is clean, spacious, and in a great location. Unfortunately, I am giving it a lower rating because of a significant issue that was not disclosed in the VRBO listing: there was no Wi-Fi/internet or cable TV provided.Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that none of the four TVs advertised in the listing could be used for normal viewing. There was even a large TV in the basement with a Starlink system connected to it, but we could not access or turn on the TV.I contacted the property manager to ask for the Wi-Fi password and was told that the owner intentionally does not provide Wi-Fi because the property was designed to be a “serene retreat.” That description was not included anywhere in the VRBO listing. Had the listing clearly stated that Wi-Fi and internet were not provided, I would not have rented this property.For our family, internet access was not a luxury. We needed it to complete college assignments and take care of work responsibilities during our stay. In today’s environment, I consider Wi-Fi/internet to be a basic amenity, especially for a property that prominently advertises multiple TVs.The cabin itself is nice, but the lack of internet—and, more importantly, the failure to clearly disclose that it was not provided—was a major disappointment and significantly affected our experience. I would encourage the owner to clearly state this limitation in the listing so future guests can make an informed decision before booking.

Avoid Unless Property Management Improves.The property itself is clean, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful area with beautiful lake views. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.Our stay was severely impacted by poor property management. The A/C failed during our visit, and despite repeatedly contacting Vacasa, we were left without proper air conditioning for 2.5 out of our 5-day stay. Portable A/C units were installed only at the end of the second day, and they were not sufficient for everyone. Some family members had to sleep without A/C, including a group traveling with a 2-year-old child and a 60 year-old family member, during temperatures exceeding 95F.Communication with Vacasa was extremely disappointing. We received repeated assurances but very little actual support, making an already frustrating situation even worse.To make matters worse, the property has no Wi-Fi, which was not clearly disclosed. In today’s world, that’s a significant omission. The laundry also stopped working during our stay, adding yet another inconvenience.A nice property cannot make up for unreliable management. The multiple maintenance failures and lack of timely support completely spoiled what should have been a relaxing vacation. I would not stay here again or recommend it unless the property management significantly improves.

Great cabin!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views of Bear Lake. Beds were comfortable. The entire family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for a girls weekend away. The cabin is beautiful and we loved watching the snow come down outside the large living room windows. The kitchen was well stocked, and the fireplace was mesmerizing.

Perfect vacation home. Just the right size for our family and well stocked. We have stayed with this company before and they have always been great to work with. We are excited to plan our next summer getaway.

Area is perfect. Close to stores, shops… Some issues with the cabin, a little difficult to get in touch with a local maintenance person for help

Our stay was so pleasant. Beautiful cabin, nice beds, great counter space for eating and cooking. The kids had a great place down stairs to play, as well as adults for cards and games. It was so close to town and very close to the marina, with a great view of the marina. Our stay was so fun and cant wait until next year to stay again.
