We loved the family time spent at this wonderful house. It was clean, had a great view, had room to spare, and the location was in a quite area outside the lake front traffic. Bikes, foosball, table tennis, darts and badminton entertained us when not out in the sun. Close enough to be at the lake in 15 minutes. We would spend time here again. Also, we really appreciated having real TP.

We had an excellent stay at Lake Effect Lodge in Bear Lake, Utah. The home was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it perfect for our group of 16. The host was exceptionally responsive—every message was answered quickly and kindly, which made the entire experience smooth and stress‑free.The well‑stocked kitchenware made meal prep easy, and we appreciated how comfortable the beds and furniture were throughout the home. One of our favorite features was the large balcony with beautiful lake views—a perfect spot for winding down in the evening.The younger members of our family especially loved the lawn area, complete with a volleyball net, swingset, and hammock. It gave everyone plenty to do while at the property.We would absolutely stay at Lake Effect Lodge again. It’s a fantastic place for families, groups, and anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, and scenic Bear Lake getaway.

Beautiful new favorite location at south end of the lake

We had a great stay! The house is beautiful, new, big, and clean. The four master suites were super useful for our large extended family, and everyone else found space in the bunk room, extra room, and couches. Plenty of space and plenty of amenities. Owners were very easy to work with - great communication and an easy check-in and check-out process.

Beautiful

This lodge was perfect for our family vacation! There were 22 of us there, so we needed a lot of space. It was very spacious, so we had plenty of roomThere were beautiful views of the lake, and we love the ideal beach amenities! Great place to stay for a Bear Lake get-a-way!

Great Family Reunion

The house is large, fairly new, and has a great view of the lake while not being too far from the lake. We enjoyed the two large family rooms, the nice bathrooms, the ping pong table in the garage, etc. Plus, the included access to Ideal Beach provided a nice addition to our activities. The owner was quick to respond to questions we had. Overall, the 17 of us had a great time here.

This is a Beautiful and new like property with gorgeous views of the lake and valley. It accommodated our BIG family with plenty of space and comfort. We would return and recommend it 100%! We appreciated that the exact price was stated without many hidden and unexplainable fees.

This house was amazing for our family reunion. Every family was able to have their own room and bathroom. There was no fighting or arguing over who got to shower first and there was always enough hot water. The games in the garage were perfect for our teenagers. We will recommend this home to all our friends.

The house was large and spacious so it’s great for large family gatherings. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to par. The towels were stained, beds in between the sheets, shower curtains were mildewed, and there were crumbs and grime all over common living areas. Not very well kept despite being a pretty new home. I noticed that the bathroom tile/wood transition strips are not used so you see raw tile edges that someone can trip on. Also there aren’t any towel racks or hooks besides command strips so this house was very difficult to live in despite being so large because towels would fall and not be able to dry well. Also, having a guest handbook may be useful in the future for guidance on the private beach or pool access.

Check in was easy. Adis communicated clearly. House was well stocked with dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Most bedrooms have a bathroom off of the bedroom. The kitchen had a blendec, 2 crockpots, and lots of plates and utensils.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

We thought this place looked pretty sweet online but to see it in person is pretty awesome! Absolutely beautiful! Every room! So spacious! We took our whole family. Married kids and grandkids! We can’t wait to go back. Access to Ideal Beach was a must for me when I was booking our trip. This a just a quick drive away from all that Ideal Beach has to offer. I think our families fav part was the gorgeous deck. We spent a lot of time hanging out and playing games on the deck! Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful and Excellent Owner

We loved the home, it has large rooms for the family to gather, great large deck and lots of seating, large family rooms and plenty of parking for our 6 cars (one had a trailer). We enjoyed the views, the quiet neighborhood, and the upscale house, like the very large bathrooms, showers, tall ceilings and giant windows. The owner is excellent, very nice and very responsive. We felt at home and we knew we would have a great experience because of the owner. We enjoyed the access to the beach, pool and all the activities, a close drive away from the house. We ate all our meals on the deck to enjoy the views. The house is new and we loved being in the new house.

Our stay at Lake Effect Lodge was amazing. Property management was very accommodating, responsive with questions, and easy to work with. I mentioned to Adis that I was booking the Lake Effect Lodge for my retirement party as a gift to my family to show my gratitude for a lifetime of support throughout my career. When we arrived, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome card and small gift congratulating me on my retirement and offering their assistance to make our week there a special celebration. They go out of their way to try and provide an exceptional experience for their guests. The house is beautiful and in very good condition. We had oodles of room for our kids and grandkids with spacious bedrooms and living areas. The large deck was a favorite place to hang out, eat and relax. The new lawn with lawn games, and the playground were a big hit. The access to Ideal Beach with their facilities was a huge bonus. Our time at Lake Effect Lodge created a lifetime of cherished memories for our family. Thank you!

Overall it was a great home. It served our family well for our Family Reunion. Ideal beach access was great and fun but only two passes to Ideal Beach were provided at the house. The kitchen was beautiful and modern with plenty of eating utensils, but we would liked it if they had measuring cups and spoons and a few more kitchen appliances. All garbage needed to be hauled to a community dumpster about 1/4 mile from the house. Also, there were minimal games at the house. Pools and outdoor games are all at Ideal Beach. Foosball table appears to require quarters to operate. We would stay here again if the house is available for another family.
