Check in was quick and simple and the house was “Absolutely Perfect”. Great location, well stocked, and clean. Great place for a family vacation. Will definitely be back.

We have stayed at several VRBOs over the years. This one by far was the best location. The beach is your backyard. The garage faces the beach, so you are just a few steps away from setting up. You can use the private beach, and not have to set up, or sit on the back patio and hear the waves crash. Well, equipped kitchen. Awesome grill! We love going out to eat on vacation, but we enjoyed a few dinners on the beautiful back patio, which has a huge table and perfect views of the sunsets. We would definitely stay here again. The property management company was very helpful, and stayed in communication with us throughout our visit, offering their assistance. It’s going to be hard to top this one.

Very nice property

Our stay was relaxing. Even though there were minor issues when we arrived, they were addressed immediately. Loved this property and will be back.

Wonderful

Clean, comfortable, easy beach access, delightful pool, quiet, everything in working condition. Owner was so kind, property management very helpful, easy process. We’d stay there again!

Absolutely perfect! This beach house had it all — peaceful location away from the crowds, gorgeous ocean views, and a beach that was never busy. The large balconies were perfect for relaxing, and the rooftop overlook was breathtaking. it was so close to shopping and dinng as well. We loved having a golf cart to get around. Our days were spent at the beach, then cooling off in the beautiful palm-lined pool. The pool area was amazing, with a great outdoor cooking space.Fully furnished, comfortable, and unforgettable — we can’t wait to come back!

All in the name

This home and it's location live up to it's name...Absolutely Perfect! Being on the beach with 4 year old twins and a teenager made our trip a whole lot better. Close enough to all the Anna Maria Island amenities and enough room for everyone.

Home was beautiful, location was exceptional. We had a fabulous time and would possibly again. The only issue we had was with the pool. We arrived , like most rentals on Saturday @ 4 and the pool was green...immediately called the property management company to let them know. We were told pool cleaning days were Friday and Monday, which is typical for rentals..and then told us they would get back to us asap...which of course was not the case..they sent a maintenance person over sunday afternoon...to "take a look"... And when I expressed my concern about having intentionally rented a house with a pool because a family member is unable to get into the ocean due to balance issues, I was told "well Friday has come and gone and they are not going to come out at this point until next cleaning". The pool had a layer of green slime across the bottom and sides and clearly according to the Monday cleaner, had not been done in a while. Needless to say the pool had to be shocked and we could not use it until Tuesday afternoon.. rental houses are not cheap and we take one vacation a year, so very disappointing. I would love to stay there again but would need assurance that this would not happen.

Hello Jennifer I am glad that you liked our place on the back an consider to come back. And I am very sorry to hear that the pool was not in proper condition when you arrived. I investigated this and it appears that the previous guest had manipulated the setup of the pool plumbing - which was not realized that Friday... We have now installed procedures to check both hardware and water quality early Saturdays. I apologize for the inconvenience. Hope to host you again.

Beautiful house but not without issues

First, we have been renting houses through VRBO for over 10 years and never had a problem before this rental. The house had beautiful views and was very clean. Website stated fits10 people comfortably but only had beds for 8. Photos showed a extra bed we were counting on for my daughter that had surgery on her arm and couldn’t share a bed. We had to get an air mattress to remedy that situation. Then they only had 8 bath towels 9 beach towels. With a houseful of girls that use a towel for their hair and one for their body we ran short towels before the night was over. The fan in the upstairs bedroom didn’t work upon arrival. The following day the AC wasn’t working. Management did send someone to fix the fan, bring more towels and repair the AC the same day. We informed maintenance that the pool level was severely low and we filled the pool so the skimmer wasn’t sucking air and risk ruining the pump. The neighbors were unfriendly and even called the police one evening. Policeman was friendly and familiar with the situation and told us to enjoy the rest of our stay. It was obvious the neighbors have called the police on this rental numerous times before by the rule book provided on check in and the lights set on timer to go off 10pm. The kitchen sink backed up when trying to clean up for check out, sent text to maintenance. The worst came 2 weeks later when they sent us $1100 bill for plumbing repairs, holes in walls, destroyed linens and towels none of which we did.

We are glad that you liked our house and apricated the efforts of our team to keep it clean. Unfortunately, we do not share the same understanding of how we want to our property treated as well as our neighbours. We are licenses for 8 guests, so stated in our rental agreements. Fires on the beach are illegal and inappropriate as well (turtle season!). Chief of police confirmed that they told this the guest. For the first time we charged 50% repair, as the kitchen sink and disposal were totally clocked with plastics and the like. Luckily this happed the first time in our 10-year rental history.

The house was amazing! The fact that we could walk about 10 steps to the beach was incredible. The views were breathtaking and the pool was wonderful. The property management company was top notch! The communication was on point and they were there for us anytime we needed them. We will definitely be coming back.

The overall cleanliness of the home was not up to what we would expect when we typically rent homes. The BBQ area was completely over sold in the pictures. It was extremely dirty. We could not get half the burners to work and it appeared in unsafe. Also the overall cleanliness of the outdoor kitchen area was terrible. There were dead bugs by the second floor elevator entrance that my wife had to clean when we arrived The master bedroom was fine but the other two bedrooms on the floor were extremely tight. My daughter had to utilize both bedrooms in order to facilitate the luggage and sleeping. On the ground floor there appeared to be no air conditioning so it was extremely difficult to watch TV and play pool with my sons. The kitchen/living room area and master bedroom were in my opinion the best of the home. But giving the issues that we had to deal with I would have to seriously consider renting from VRBO again. Also the company that we rented baby supplies was terrible. We found food in the high chair and the crib mattress was dirty. Which my daughter has to clean. I will be contacting them directly. Regarding the insects, Florida experiences seasonal insect activity. The home was professionally cleaned and inspected before your arrival. Despite regular pest control, insects can occasionally re-enter shortly after cleaning, particularly if exterior doors or windows are left open, which is unfortunately common in Florida's climate. We were surprised by your comments regarding cleanliness, as this is consistently praised in our many other guest reviews and remains one of our highest priorities. The Weber grill was inspected after your departure. All burners were fully operational and the grill was confirmed to be safe. Weber grills operate differently from many standard gas grills, and unfortunately the control knobs are sometimes damaged by users unfamiliar with their operation. The guest bedroom sizes and the outdoor kitchen are accurately represented in our listing, and all photos reflect the property's actual appearance without misrepresentation. The baby equipment you referenced was rented through an independent third-party company and was neither provided nor arranged by our agency. While we regret your experience with that vendor, it is unrelated to the condition or management of our vacation home. Had any concerns been reported during your stay, we would have been happy to address them.

Wonderful house on a wonderful island

Great house and a great location on a wonderful island. Was our first time to AMI and we will be back. Very chill and relaxing environment. Great restaurants and very nice people. House was beautiful and you can’t beat the location. The backyard pool was our oasis after a hot day in the sun on the beach. The beach was very clean and nice. Really loved AMI and this house.
