'Peaceful Valley Lake & Cabins'
Attention: Nature lovers, or someone who just wants to escape for a few days of peace and quiet. Come and stay in our cozy cabin, better known as, "Tree Top Cabin", overlooking the beautiful catch-and-release lake fully stocked with a variety of fish.
The cabin is surrounded by woods and offers two decks to enjoy the view from. You can sit and listen to the birds, or watch the squirrels jump from tree to tree. Enjoy a hike along the creek thru the woods, or just relax with a fishing pole while floating along in our two person fishing boat (at no extra charge).
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. There is a washer/dryer and bathroom with all the necessary linens needed to make
your stay more comfortable. There is also a gas grill on the top deck, so you can enjoy the view of the lake while grilling your favorite foods. The cabin and lake are located out in the country, yet are only minutes from town. With Lake Cumberland and marinas only minutes away, what more could a person ask for? We do not permit "parties."
Peaceful Valley is just that...... Peaceful... Our property is geared to quiet, restful, family relaxation. We do not permit hosting "parties".

Weekend stay

Beautiful property! Such a relaxing setting and perfect area to disconnect. I definitely would recommend anyone to stay here! The owner was so nice and made us feel so welcomed! Will be back again!

Amazing stay

We stayed a weekend just to relax and fish. The owners were excellent and the property is so beautiful. I would recommend this property to anyone. We had such an amazing and relaxing time.

Great Place to Fish and Get Away

The property had plenty of space and trees to give off the feeling of being in the woods. The lake was excellent to catch small fish and bass. Very friendly and hospitable owners!

Spring Visit

Our 3-night visit at the end of March was excellent. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The property is beautiful! Owners were very attentive to our questions. This is a great get away for a restful vacation. We are already planning a fall visit.

Country paradise

We really enjoyed our stay. This property was perfect in every way…cozy, clean, beautiful scenery, extremely peaceful with great fishing. The area landscape and local towns are some of Kentuckys finest. The owners were some of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay at your cabin. Great time with family

This makes are fourth time staying here and always have a great time its getting harder each time to say bye to Timmy, Rose an the boys. We love it here and definitely plan on coming back soon. Its just so peaceful and quite. Great place to just relax and have a lot of fun making memories with the family.

Perfection!

Beautiful property! The cabin was perfect and set up for us. Perfect for fishing. Caught lots of catfish, bass, and blue hill. Hosts were amazing and so friendly. And the town with restaurants and grocery stores is only a 15 min drive away. Definitely will be back again!

Peaceful Valley and more

Place was wonderful!! Cabin had all we needed. It was absolutely beautiful with our own dock and 2 person boat to ride around or fish. Timmie was a wonderful host who sat with us on the covered deck and thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. He even brought us a bucket full of items from his garden which we fixed and ate the next night for dinner. We will be coming back!!!!

Peaceful and relaxing!

Love this wonderful place! Timmy and Rose were very accommodating and all the reviews I read on here were so very true. Clean cabins, good fishing, clean lake, beautiful property and a good place to relax and unwind. Lake Cumberland is not far away if you chose to go check that area out as well. We already booked again for next year and are counting down the days!! Thanks Timmy and Rose for sharing your peaceful home tucked away in the woods on a beautiful lake.

Beautiful cabins

My husband, myself, our 3 boys and my father in law stayed here for the weekend. This place is very beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was like a home away from home, was very clean and had all necessities you could possibly need. We were extremely happy with our stay and the owners were helpful and very friendly. They definitely make sure there guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. We also caught lots of fish from the lake. The game tables down stairs were a nice touch after fishing all day.

Amazing Stay!

From the moment I booked until checkout, communication was excellent! They were always quick with a response to any question or need. The property is amazing. Although it’s just minutes from town, it feels like you are hidden far away. The lake and creek are beautiful. I enjoyed morning walks around the property. The cabin has everything that you could need for cooking, laundry, relaxing, and entertainment. We cooked most of our meals on the blackstone grill. We can’t wait to return!

Complete R & R

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation spot, and found it at this cabin. Timmy and Rose are perfect hosts, a delicious cake was waiting for us upon arrival, and Timmy checked in on us at least once a day to make sure everything was good, and was quick to correct anything that did need attention. The lake provided us many hours of relaxed fishing and family time. And additional nice touches with the many board games available, a fire pit and gas grill on the upper deck. I can’t say enough good things about our stay and are looking forward to going back.
