Thank you for your review and complimenting our “great little cabin.” As this review is in stark contrast to our very high standards, and reflected in the many guest reviews, we must respond to the items. Every guest receives a Welcome Packet 3 days prior to arrival directly from VRBO. This packet is sent to the email used when making the reservation which include precise driving directions with detailed mile markers, exact mileage distances and street names that lead precisely to the cabin driveway. If a copy of the welcome packet for verification is helpful, we can request VRBO resend a copy. Due to the cabin altitude, black bears detect the smell of meat from grills and trash receptacles and become destructive while scavenging for food. After replacing 3 grills, we choose not to provide an outdoor grill or garbage receptacles. While this is inconvenient, it is the best alternative to debris and grill cleanup. We do NOT advertise a grill in the listing. We do apologize for the main level fireplace as the remote batteries needed replaced. We made contact to provide further assistance and had we known it was not resolved following our call, we would have requested the housekeeper return. This has been resolved. We strive for excellence with the rental of a 2,200sf property located on 3.5 acres with beautiful vista views, pristine cleanliness and the many amenities and creature comforts our valued guests have come to expect when visiting the Mountain Blessing cabin time after time. We trust you have a better experience when choosing another cabin when returning to the area.
