Beautiful, secluded location outside of Bozeman but only a 25 min drive from downtown. The cabin has everything one could need, is very comfortable and a great place for just hanging out at!

Beautiful Property

This property was more beautiful than the pictures. Well appointed, clean and comfortable. Be mindful that it is a drive to town and I would suggest stopping for groceries even before your first night. We were very happy with our stay and the stunning mountain surroundings.

Perfect Getaway

The Brackett Creek Cabin was even better than I expected in every way. I love the location, about 20 minutes from Bozeman and the activity of town. I found seclusion, quiet, comfort, and beauty. It was the perfect backdrop for entertaining family and it's close to lots of day hikes, a trip to Yellowstone, restaurants, and shopping in town. Thoroughly loved it, wish I could have stayed longer than two weeks!

This was our second stay at Brackett Creek. The first, three years ago, was so special and perfect that I was super excited to return. I would have stayed last year, but it was booked when I wanted to come. My daughter and I do the Crosscut 20K trail race at Bridger Bowl and Brackett Creek is much closer than my daughter's home in Bozeman. It's our gift for crossing the finish line! The first stay involved a lot of outdoor time but this time it rained the entire weekend. Still, the ever changing sky and weather is one of my favorite things about it. This time we enjoyed more time indoors with board games, a fire in the fireplace, and still pulled off a barbecue. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with anything we could need, even more really. The only things I think visitors should know are there is no service outside the cabin, so print or screenshot the entry code before you get there, and there are lots of marmots. Not a problem, but they chirp and poop all over, just an fyi. The first time we brought my dog and it was a bit of an issue, but not a big one. Other than that, this cabin is in a great location to visit Bozeman, Big Sky, Yellowstone, so many lakes, mountains and their trails, rivers to fish, the beauty is endless and stunning and yes, it's on 100 acres, which we haven't explored, but next time....!

Mountain Getaway

What a beautiful property. Everything was immaculately clean in the cabin. The yard, pond and everything around was pristine as well. My mom and I had such a wonderful trip. I would highly recommend it. 20 minutes to Bozeman, 20 minutes to the beautiful Shields Valley and easy access to the Bangtails and the Bridgers. 10 out of 10.

My Private Montana

Relocated from the Midwest to Bozeman, and used this property as my base station for exploring the neighborhoods and areas of Bozeman. Secluded location allowed much-needed relaxation away from all the hubbub of the city. Fully-stocked kitchen meant no worries about compromising on nutritional needs. Dog-friendly property and reliable Internet access rounded out the perks I needed. The atmosphere/vibe of the cabin and surrounding area will be a lasting memory for me, and I treasure the week I spent at Brackett Creek Cabin.

Trip to Bridger Bowl

What a wonderful home! Quiet and cozy, fireplace and plenty of firewood (one might pick up some kindling and paper to bring). We had a plumbing freezing issue when we got there that was quicks and seamlessly dealt with. Great location, less than 15 minutes past Bridger. Kitchen is fantastic. Bring some DVDs if you like, WiFi isn’t really fast enough to stream. Jets in tub remain out of order but nice deep tub for a soak. Very clean, comfy beds and oh so quiet. Thank you and we will be back!

Perfect Montana Vacation

Brackett Creek Cabin is the perfect rental if you want to have privacy, want to bring your dogs on vacation, want to be on enough land you can walk right out the door and explore, and yet you're only a half-hour from Bozeman. The cabin is impeccably clean, and doesn't seem like a rental. Great, fully stocked kitchen with high end appliances. We wanted for absolutely nothing during our stay. Water pressure strong in shower, and washer and dryer is also high-end and handy to have in the house. The only thing I would request is that the master bedroom is huge, and could easily accomodate a King sized bed. We would greatly appreciated as my husband is a big, tall guy. Literally the only reason we may look for another rental- to find a bigger bed. Thank you owners, and Mountain Home for a beautiful, clean cabin. We had a fantastic trip!

Jacuzzi tub was out of order. As an owner of vacation rentals that unexeptable. Wont use vrbo again

Great privacy! Nicely appointed, though I didn’t care for the property mgr saying “oh by the way, the satellite TV is out” and never scheduling to have it fixed.

Lovely home and location!

The perfect place to stay, loved the quiet surroundings, loved the fireplace and watching it snow. Very comfortable home and the kitchen was well stocked. The bed was very comfortable as well. Loved the unique doors inside. It was so nice to bring our dogs to this home. Our daughters were able to stay with us one night when it snowed. We would love to stay here again. Some minor items: The housekeeping was less than desirable, windows have not been cleaned inside for a very long time. The jetted tub was not clean and hair inside it so we did not use it. The lint tray in the dryer was completely full. The place mats on the kitchen table were not wiped down. I also suggest leaving a scrub brush for washing the pots and pans and maybe putting a squeegee in the shower to clean the door and window. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
