Property exactly as advertised. Good proximity to the Valley and Glacier Point if either of these are on your itinerary. Bill (host) super responsive and is exactly the kind of host you want for this type of accommodation if you're unfamiliar with the surroundings. We had a great time and the lodging was a big part of it. Thanks Bill!

The location being Yosemite West was excellent as it avoided the daily entry waits into the Park. It provided easy access via car to the many activities in Yosemitee Valley as well as Glasier Point ... and if heading south, to Mariposa Grove.Theproperty was a bit older than expected but worked well with multiple couples:- Kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware.- Nice quiet and peaceful surroundings- 3 Bedrooms were a bit tight for space but workable.- Host was readily available for any needs.

Amazing location in Yosemite West! Host Bill knowledge of the park & surrounding areas super helpful. Thanks for your advice on scenic drive to Sequoia. The place was perfect. Kitchen and linens well stocked. Loved the climbing photos (bet some of those are you Bill). 10/10 will definitely recommend this to family/friends.

Bill’s house is clean and comfortable. He has clearly kept the important rooms of kitchen and bathrooms up to date and in good working order especially, There is no air conditioning, but the ceiling fans in every room helped cool the house sufficiently for sleeping even though we were there for an October heat wave with ninety degree days. My husband and I chose his home in Yosemite West to have a quiet place to ourselves in the evenings after our daytime roaming around the mild chaos and loads of people in Yosemite Valley. The walls of windows in his great room and dining area bring all the tall evergreens in his private backyard right up to you; we felt surrounded with their lushness and peace.

Overall was good for one night. Host was very friendly and great communication. Everything was clean except for the water reservoir in the coffee maker so I just used the French press and the shower curtain in downstairs bathroom was moldy. Air conditioning didn’t work and that’s one of the reasons I chose the home because it said it had ac, but it was cool at night to open the windows and have fans going so that was fine. Definitely bring your own pillows though because the pillows were so flat I woke up with neck ache and headache; beds were comfortable. Was very convenient being inside the park and only 35minutes to main areas including Yosemite Village Parking lot. Peaceful and beautiful views of trees outside back deck to have coffee in the morning.
