So cozy!

My partner and I really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was great walking everywhere and having such a beautiful view. We were just in time for a snowfall and the whole atmosphere just felt magical. Can’t wait to stay again someday.

Wow, what a pleasure to stay at Haines

I loved your little cabin by the sea. The view was fantastic. I enjoyed the front deck and each morning, drinking coffee and overlooking the bay. Had a wonderful surprise at 3 o’clock in the morning when the aurora borealis showed up was able to video from the back deck. The house is simple, but very comfortable and well equipped. Best place I’ve stayed at in Alaska so far. I’ve been here 2 1/2 weeks..

Wonderful experience, very peaceful- Thank you Randa!

We loved our stay at The Cottage- it had everything we needed and Randa was extremely helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. The only thing that could be improved would be having blackout shades or curtains for the bedroom to aid in sleeping during the Summer months. Thank you again, Randa!

Great location

Randa was so accommodating when we decided to stay an extra day. Great location and lots of room. Great vies if the Lynn Canal.

Excellent Location

This is a great property for the price. Location in town was excellent and the Property Manager was very helpful. The fireplace was not working at the time, however there was a heating system which worked fine. The car rental location was next door, which was convenient, and you can’t beat the beautiful mountain view. Looking forward to our next visit to Haines.

Stunning Views

Perfect place to stay! Walking distance to everything. Views of the water and mountains. We received a discounted price on our local excursion for booking with Randa. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and had a well appointed kitchen. Randa was able to accommodate us with early check in and later check out times to coincide with the ferry schedule. Overall perfect trip!

Our plans almost cratered completely when our flight from Juneau canceled. Randa was able to fix us up with a cruise from Juneau instead! Excellent host!

Great stay!

We stayed here over a holiday weekend and while the weather was not always cooperative, we still had time to enjoy the deck and beautiful views that this rental cottage has to offer. It’s very comfortably sized and has the basic essentials to get you through a short stay. Communication with the property manager was always prompt. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to another one in the future!

Amazing view!

We stayed here for two weeks. It was warm, cozy and plenty of hot water. Woke up and enjoyed watching the sun come over the mountains. Close to everything. Saw whales a few times from the deck. If you are sensitive to light or would just like to sleep in past 4:00am, bring your own eye masks, white mini blinds in the bedroom.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and excellent location.

This was a cute cottage located in town close enough to walk to almost everything. Staying here felt like home and made our weekend trip to Haines perfect. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place.

This cabin lived up to all expectations. Great location in town, nice views, excellent set up with good bathroom and kitchen and little dining area. Comfortable bed. Absolutely zero complaints.

Perfect cottage for a couple

Clean, comfortable, and a great location. Excellent communication. Very helpful, allowed us to drop our bags when we arrived early and to stay a bit later because we had a 1pm shuttle. Very well appointed kitchen, good WiFi, and a beautiful view from the deck. I can't say enough positive things about the cottage and also about Haines. Thank you very much!

Hidden Gem

We were very happy with the cottage and the view! Location makes walking easy to shops and dining! Our favorite place to eat was the Pilot Light. People are so nice and friendly here much like all of Alaska!
