Excellent option in the heart of Savannah

This cozy carriage house exceeded expectations. My teenage son and I traveled to Savannah to visit SCAD. We were within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The home is very clean and well appointed with lovely touches for a homey feel. The owner Nancy is especially responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Weekend Getaway

Quiet, close to Forsythe Park and not too far from River street. Great little place for 4 for a weekend getaway.

Great location for a weekend in savannah

The 2 bedroom apartment in a coach house is very comfortable and well equipped. It is close to everything The first night we walked to sand fly for takeout bbq. the first day we walked to Forsyth park and all the way downtown through the squares stopping g at clarys for crab cake eggs Benedict. For di n0r we walked to Cotton and Rye which was excellent. On the Sunday we took the free shuttle downtown and did the river walk, had lunch at the grey and oysters at sorry Charlie's. No need for a car when staying here. I would definately reccomend staying here

Home away from home

Nancy has really thought of everything you might need when vacationing away from home. Very beautiful property and owners. Close to Forsyth Park and The DOT shuttle bus line. Great stay!

Great place and good location!

My sister and I recently rented this gorgeous property. It was perfect for the two of us. The property is nicely decorated and very clean. The owner, Nancy, was very easy to work with. She met us upon arrival and gave us the lay of the land which was very helpful. If we go back to this part of the country we would definitely try to stay here again. Thanks!

Perfect!!

We so enjoyed our stay at the charming carriage house while visiting in Savannah. It was bright and cheery with large rooms and every attention to detail was covered. We were only blocks from Forsyth Park and walking distance to many restaurants and historic Savannah. Nancy and Ivo were the perfect hosts, and we truly enjoyed meeting them. We very much enjoyed our stay! The complete unit is very up to date. Will return if in Savannah.

We were very pleased with the whole experience of staying at The Maian. Ivo and Nancy were very helpful and polite. They gave us suggestion of good bars and restaurants. The unit was very up to date, modern and clean! A couple of suggestions. And, probably peculiar to us we’d like to of had some sharp knives and shades over the upstairs bedroom. Pleasant stay!

PERFECT SAVANNAH PLACE

We so enjoyed our stay in this PERFECT carriage house. The hosts Nacy and Ivo were so warm and welcoming and gave us a heads up on places to go. The location is one block off Forsyth Square and is again PERFECT.. And finally the accomodations were beautiful, lovely design, bright and extremely well done...PERFECT. We look forward to staying with them the next time we are in Savannah. Thanks Lisa & Marc

Comfortable, lovely and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this carriage house. It was very comfortable and well set-up for 4 adults. It was a great location: close enough to easily walk everywhere but not right in the thick of things, and hence peaceful and quiet. Kitchen well-appointed -- it would be easy too cook a full meal here. We ate in for all breakfasts. Living room furniture, especially sofa, is on the small side -- not great for lounging. Finally my one complaint is not about the place (we would happily return), but the differential between the advertised price when one first sees this VRBO listing and the final, price -- which was almost 50% more than initial list price. Moreover, the "add-ons" are not all visible upfront, but appear sequentially as one completes the VRBO request. This leaves me with a bad taste for VRBO's process.

Beautiful, clean, great location

A gorgeous place that's been beautifully renovated. Both bathrooms amazing. Beds and linens totally comfy. Great location too.

Great location. Walking distance to so much! Beautiful home!

Stayed here for the Rock n Roll half marathon and so glad I did! Beautiful home, clean nice updates. Felt safe. Nancy was wonderful. Easy parking. Only a block from Forsyth Park walking distance to river and many great restaurants! Would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic Stay, Perfect Location, Awesome Hosts

Lisa and I had a wonderful weekend as the guest of our host Nancy and Ivo. The pre-visit communications from Nancy were welcomed and beneficial! We found them both to be welcoming, friendly and helpful with city sites and restaurant recommendations. Their newly rebuilt close to everything (in the Forsyth park neighborhood) guest house was outstanding. We found the house to be both nicely appointed and comfortable with modern and hi-end furnishings and very thoughtful touches like a coffee , teas, condiments and high end toiletries. The entire visit wonderful with the center of our weekend being our home away from home. Nancy and Ivo where the perfect host and we highly recommend being their guest! Thanks again for being such wonderful hosts! Tim & Lisa ”

Stay in Savannah

Property was perfect. Ideal location. Property was exceptionally clean and very appealing, comfortable. Nancy was a pleasure to work with. Very accommodating and helpful with suggestions about how to enjoy our stay as well as what to see and experience. Will recommend to family and friends and will return if in Savannah again.

Great Space in a Great Place

The Maian was clean, comfortable, and newly renovated. It has everything you need for a great stay in Savannah and the location is perfect - right next to Forsyth Park. Would stay again.

Adorable

This property is well maintained, tiny and super cute. It was just enough for us (3 people). It is small, I wouldn't really recommend it for more than 3 people. Easy access to the park and downtown, parking on the street made it convenient to get in and out to other places. Nancy and her husband were easily contactable and were very nice. Would stay at their property again.

Lovely Carriage House

We really enjoyed our visit to Savannah, staying at the Carriage House. It was off the beaten path, but within the limits of pedi-taxi and a short walk to the free bus (across the park). The house itself was Very nice, though there were problems with the hot water turning cold in the shower, which the owner worked hard to address. I assume the problem has been corrected by now. We didn't try to make meals there, so can't comment on the kitchen beyond Morning coffee which was wonderful. Owner supplied basic condiments which was appreciated. Parking was available and convenient. It seemed all construction was new and very well done. My only negative (beside the hot-cold shower) was that the pillow was very flat. I'm a side-sleeper, and need a thicker pillow. We LOVED listening to the mockingbirds in the morning!

Perfection!

The house is within walking distance ( 1-1.5 miles) to many of Savannah's squares, City Market, and River Street. House is beautifully furnished and provides a very relaxing stay.

Fantastic location. Wonderful, clean, perfect carriage apartment.

We enjoyed every aspect of this property. The owner is gracious and helpful. On our next visit we will only come back here to stay, and knowing it's that good, so we will need to plan well and book early.
