Amazing 9 X 14 home theatre that takes this incredible cabin to an all new level--- Smart TV with 70 inch screen, Onkyo Receiver, Bose acoustimast 10 surround sound system, Roku Streaming, Blue ray/DVD, and 2 relaxing reclining home theatre chairs on isolation platform with 'buttkicker' tactile sound transducer system. The theatre in my other cabin was so popular that we added a theatre to this one! Check out my Pics!

This is a an immaculate cabin in a beautiful setting. Deanna was wonderful to work with. The cabin is decorated nicely and has every convenience. We highly recommend it and will stay there again if we have the opportunity.

The cabin has literally every thing you need from toothpaste tooth brush ,travel toiletries, spices, plenty of extra power strips. The hot tub was amazing also. The most beautiful views. We had an amazing trip. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to cook. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Once again every thing was first class. Deanna is very easy to work with. The cabin is very comfortable. Every time we come improvements have been made. A couple times we did see Bears by the cabin. Once it was Mama and her 3 cubs.Wish we could have taken the view home with us!! Thanks for everything!!

The location and the view were outstanding. Even though the cabin is isolated, it is only 2 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, and about 10 minutes from Gatlinburg.

The owner is wonderful to communicate with. The VIEW! If you want a view this is the place to stay. We will be back! You are minutes from everything but have the peace and quiet as if no one is around for miles.

The cabin was amazing. Very clean and host provided everything you could possibly need for your stay including lots of games and so many movies to choose from and watch in the media room. Absolutely beautiful cabin with an amazing view looking over the mountains. Our host, Deanna, was also amazing she even calmed my nerves when we encountered a mama bear and her cub on our very first day as we pulled up to the cabin. She was so kind and sweet but I think seeing the bears really made our trip the best. Never saw them again while we were there. I highly recommend booking this cabin or any that she has as I will definitely book again. If I could give her higher than a 10 I would well deserved.

The cabin was very comfortable and inviting. The master bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all of the essentials and more. The view of the Great Smoky Mountains was perfect! We loved our stay here and would stay here again!

Deanna is always a fantastic host, everything you need for a nice relaxing stay is included. Cabin is perfect for couples. We’ve stayed at Deanna’s cabins many times and will continue to do so.

Everything was so clean and perfect for our anniversary trip. Great view and private balcony. Nice media and game room. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies. Only bummer was it wasn't communicated in the ad that the fireplace was closed for the season. It was definitely something we were looking forward to. Other than that everything was fun and thought of! Great hosts!

Hi Lydia. So glad you enjoyed your stay. We actually do indicate in the listing that the fireplace is avaliable seasonally from October to April. It generates too much heat in the cabin during the hot months and it fights the air conditioning running. As I am sure you can appreciate, it was almost 80 degrees during your stay and both the AC and fireplace running at same time is extremely energy inefficient. Thanks again for your business. Deanna

I grew up in Kentucky in a large family long before computers and video games; it was a time when games like “kick the can” and playing in the old creek behind our house represented the sum total of my worldly ambitions. Every year we would go on a family vacation. We would all jump in the station wagon and fight over who had to sit on the “hump” while dad drove to the campground. We spent a week camping in some amazing national park – building fires, roasting marshmallows and singing campfire songs. It was fantastic time to be a kid and I would not trade those memories for anything.
Growing up during those times I learned that no one owes you anything in life and that hard work and honesty will get you far. My word and handshake was my bond.

It is with that attitude that I rent this cabin. I understand that you work hard for your money and I respect that. I will strive to give you the best possible value, vacation experience and enjoyment during your stay.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Sherwood Forest is perfectly located just 1 1/2 miles from the Parkway to give you the isolation and quiet you want while being close to all the action. There are tons of activates within a few miles of the resort - Dollywood, restaurants, outlet mall shopping, zip-lining, go-carts, putt-putt golf, etc. It also sits right on the edge of the park allowing easy access. Gatlinburg is also a quick 5 miles away so you can go there for a day trip.
Smoky Mountain national park is a short 5 mile drive.
The Smoky Mountains are an amazing place - hiking trails, drive-to overlooks, biking, and animals galore. In recognition of the park's unique natural resources, the United Nations has designated Great Smoky Mountains National Park as an International Biosphere Reserve.
I am sure you will fall in love with its beauty the same way I did.
