Oyster lovers wanted! One of a kind property with 180 degree waterviews!

You won't find another place like this! Studio By the Sea is a stone's throw from Mystic's main drag and a short drive to the famous Aquarium and Seaport. This isn't your ordinary property, it's also home to a small family owned and operated oyster farm with over 120 acres in the Mystic River. Guests are welcome to jump onboard and check out the farm, The studio sleeps four comfortably with one queen bed and one pull out sleeper sofa. The bedroom area, full kitchen, and cozy seating area all boast exceptional and onubstructed waterviews. The studio also has one full bathroom with gorgeous stone shower with heated seat and floor. Outside you will enjoy a small private beach, and beautiful yard that includes outdoor furniture for lounging and a firepit for s'mores. Perfect get away for romance, adventure and relaxation! Parking is included on site, and if you prefer to come by train, we are a short stroll to the Amtrak station with trains comin in from Boston and New York.

We feel so fortunate to have found this hidden gem! It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance to downtown Mystic. The space is bright, clean and suited us perfectly. Max, Ginger and the ducks made it even more perfect!

This is our second stay at the studio. We were guests over 8 years ago and finally had the chance to bring the kids back! Kris & Beth are great. The studio is beautiful, well maintained, clean, stocked with basic needs. The kids loved the ducks, Max & Ginger & learning about the oyster farm right outside your door! We went to Sift for macaroons & croissants, Mystic Pizza, Kitchen Little for the best benedicts EVER, the aquarium, Abbotts, Sea Swirl, and Mystic Village has so many cute shops. We can’t wait to be back again soon!

Absolutely 10 out of 10! The views were spectacular, the studio was immaculate, and Kris and Beth were so friendly and helpful. Added bonus was meeting their 2 dogs, Max and Ginger and being entertained by their ducks! This was the perfect place to stay and hope to be back!

Beautiful home and wonderful hosts

We had a great stay at Kris and Beth’s place. They were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful property. We had a relaxing weekend, their oysters are amazing, and nights sitting by the pit fire and looking out over the water was peaceful. Highly recommend a long weekend here.

We absolutely loved this beautiful spot! It was just far enough out of the way to be nice and peaceful but close to everything! Kris & Beth were so pleasant and accommodating. The rental was thoughtless and very well equipped. We look forward to coming back!

Another great stay at the Studio by the Sea. Stunning sunset, beautiful mornings, absolutely spotless. Close to town, but peaceful. We travel a lot and this is one of our top 3 places. You'll love it

Start the day by watching the sunrise over the water from bed, and end the day by watching the sun set over the marina while roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. If you like to explore, it is a short stroll into town for shopping and dining, or venture further to the Aquarium, Seaport, or Casinos. Feeling outdoorsy? Relax on your private beach, or kayak and fish from the back yard. The Studio is the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Do as much or as little as you like!

Mystic is the perfect year round getaway. In the summer you will enjoy the beautiful weather and salty breezes and in the winter enjoy the quintessential holiday activities of a small New England town. We are currently offering customizable excursions on our 30' Cabin cruiser. We will happily shuttle you and your family to Sandy Point, a pristine island preserve/beach or take you out on a fishing adventure. We also offer sunrise and sunset lighthouse cruises with snacks and drinks. Ever been to Block Island? We'll take you there...fishing, exploring, shopping or all three!
Also unique to our property is our oyster hatchery. Feel free to pop down to the dock and say "hello" to the babies, or have a chat while we work.
