Relaxing stay

We like this resort property because it’s easy to get around. Easy to find the condo. Every condo has an ocean view. Price per night was reasonable. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

perfect for two people!

Well decorated. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Great views of the sea of Cortez. Comfortable couch and bed! I would absolutely stay here again. Great for a couples getaway.

Winter Beach Break

Bring the right credit card to confirm the booking. Bed was too soft for me, but some people like that. Snoran Sun is a nice break. We go there often.

Nice condo

Property was as described. The kitchen needs some updating but the bed was comfortable and furniture was nice.

My wife and I had a great 5-night stay. The condo was excellent: clean, super comfortable and with a gorgeous view over the pools and the Sea of Cortez. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the water jug/dispenser was much appreciated. A/C blew cold and we stayed nice and cool on the hotter and more humid Penasco July days. We really loved the easy walk to the pools and the beach. The layout of the pool area at Sonoran Sun is one of the best on Sandy Beach because you can sit on a lounger that's right over the beach and just look out over the water. Glorious!The breakfast buffet in the on-site restaurant is very good. Made-to-order omelets, pancakes and waffles for the win!Just a couple of small things that weren't perfect: Beach towels aren't provided. Bring your own or pay 22 EACH in the resort convenience store.The bedroom closet could use some more hangers. My wife and I are admittedly clothes horses, but there weren't enough hangers for five days worth of clothes for two people.A couple more ice trays in the freezer wouldn't hurt.We loved this condo and Sonoran Sun, and had an excellent little getaway. We would 100% stay at this condo again, and very probably will.

Absolutely Perfect

We stayed 4 nights: myself with 3 teens. This condo was the perfect size with the king bed and queen pullout couch. Plenty of space. I spent the mornings working remote from the large patio while they slept. Talk about an amazing office view! The kitchen has everything you need even salt and pepper and coffee filters. Will surely rent this condo again!

2/10 Terrible

Much worse than we expected and my expectations were not high

There was no soap, no shampoo, toilet flushed only if you flushed it a couple of times. The towels were old, fringed, dingy and there were only 3 towels for a reservation of 4. I went to buy shampoo and soap in the market on site and they were out. The condo is much more run down than the pictures show. The property itself is not what I expected either. The pool only served 2 items off their menu for lunch - yes 2. And 15 minutes after I ordered my husband went to order and they told him he can't order for 30 minutes because they are very busy. There are no beach towels at the pool and the place just seems dirty.
