Lakefront Getaway on Beautiful Long Lake - Sleeps 9!

Come for a week & kayak (4 provided) on beautiful Long Lake in Delton, Michigan. Or bring your own boat and tie it to my dock. Delton is in SW Barry County and is near Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. The lake is 300 acres of all sports enjoyment. Swimming is best by jumping off the dock or kayaking to the sand bar. Year round home is 2000 sq ft with beautiful views from the decks. Enjoy evening camp fires (wood provided) or just relax around the table on the deck. For adults, there are casinos and breweries nearby. Propane grill provided . Home sleeps at least 9 with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Bedroom 1: Queen bed, Bedroom 2: Full & twin bed, Bedroom 3: Queen bed & Bedroom 4: 2 twin beds. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer & central air & heat. All linens provided or bring your own. Smoking is allowed on the decks or in the yard, but not in the house. No WIFI, but you can create your own hot spot.

Great Place and Great Host

We loved staying here. The owner is a great host and the house was clean, well stocked and the beds were super comfortable. Great location! We hope to be back if possible.

Family get away

The house exceeded expectation. Very roomy well stocked kitchen. Lots of towels and life jackets and toys for a two year old. The weather was hot, the house had great air circulation. Our thirty year olds particularly enjoyed the collection of VCR tapes.

Relaxed family vacation

We have been here twice. For us it is a great location. Easy to book without any problems. Even though the lakeshore property is rather small, it was good for us. Kyaks available is a plus. Nice people around. Contact with owner upon arriving and she is great, but no contact manager.

We felt comfortable and safe in this house. Beautiful views and lots of wildlife. Kitchen has everything that you need! Plenty of space no matter what you are doing!

Wonderful spacious lake home!

Denise was a terrific host! She met us at the house to give us a tour. Very clean home with well-stocked kitchen, 3 decks, and great lake views! We enjoyed kayaking with our grandkids (she has kayaks and lifejackets). Beach access is a mile away. Nearby town of Hastings has shops, park, and good restaurants. We had a terrific week and Denise was quick to reply to questions. 5 star rating!!

Great Lake Property-Quiet Area

Our week long stay at this home was great. The lake is active yet quiet. We had a blast on the kayaks and the home was well appointed with the amenities we needed for the week. The neighborhood was quiet and a short drive to a small town, longer drive to other places like Grand Rapids and Lansing. We would stay here again! Thank you!

Family vacation

Denise was an excellent host, communication was easy and her response time was always very fast. The house had every amenity you could want! It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using our boat on the lake all week, as well as kayaking and paddle boarding. Great place for a family vacation!

Delton Beach House

Very nice house! Good location. Not good lake access. Shoreline is mucky water. You need to rent a pontoon or a boat!

Long Lake lake home

House was great for myself, 2 daughters and families. Appreciated the updates (bathrooms, flooring, fridge) that were recently made to the home. We were fortunate to have access to a pontoon boat from another property. Without that, lake access would’ve been difficult for my young grandchildren. The multi-story deck was great for outdoor space.

Nice vacation rental.

Perfect for large families. Right on the lake but does not have beach area or a sandy bottom. Lake great for fishing, boating and kayaking. Fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful decks and views! Need some updating.

The owner Denise is very nice and accommodating. The house is very clean and stocked with lots of items you will use like firewood, toiletries, gas grill, griddles, coffee makers, etc. Although the house does not have wifi, our Verizon phones worked well for us. There is also a dock very close by where we docked a jet ski that we rented for the week from Leaders RPM out of Kalamazoo. Lots of deck space for outdoor relaxing. We have rented hear 5 years ago, and would consider a return again in the future.

Very spacious for 6

4 adults and 2 kids stayed for a week. Had a great time and plenty of space. We rented a pontoon and kept it at the dock all week. Fishing from the pier was excellent for small pan fish. Denise was a great hostess and even kept in touch throughout the week.

Great stay

First time in a long while for my family to get together and we really enjoyed it. Denise was very welcoming. Helped me contact boat rental agent to rent a pontoon boat. There are 4 kayaks that my grand children really enjoyed.

Big house with great views

Great location near the middle of a beautiful lake. Owner met us at the property for check-in to make sure we got settled. Views from the spacious decks are spectacular. If you like to kayak and/or fish this is a perfect location. House was clean, but could use some deep cleaning of windows. Note that there is no cable or wifi, and cellular reception is not good; we had limited bandwidth. Would be difficult if you were trying to work from here. Overall this was a great place and we would return.

Lovely home and incredible lake make for an unforgetable vacation!

My family stayed at Denise's house over the 4th of July week. We had an amazing time!! My teens, their friends and our seven-year old kept asking if we could stay longer! As others have stated, Denise is delightful and the house is fully stocked -- I've never seen so many towels in my life. ;-) Denise helped us connect with Jeff at Vacation Boat Rentals (vacationboatrentalsmi_dot_com), and we got a pontoon for the week. Renting a boat is a MUST in my opinion. You will have a great time even if you don't, but having a boat will transformed your stay from great to spectacular!! It's worth the expense! We spent most of our days on the cove (a deeper part of the lake) where a few other boats anchored. Our kids dove from the boat, jumped from a large floating pad Jeff provided, played football while seating on floats we brought from home. Truly an unforgettable experience!This is the BEST lake we've been to EVER -- we've rented many lake houses over the years, none had lakes that compare to Long Lake. The water is warm, crystal clear. Our kids also went kayaking off the dock, and did some fishing most days. At night, we made smores on the fire pit (there was plenty of wood!). My husband grilled multiple nights, and we dined in the lovely, sunny deck overlooking the lake. Very relaxing! As others have said, the house is not in a remote location. This was not at all an issue, however. The neighbors were extremely welcoming-- we initiated conversations and really enjoyed meeting them. I recommend this house without hesitation!

Best Get away ever!

We stayed 9 days. It was the best vacation ever. EVERYTHING went smooth. The neighbors were great, location swell, the weather worked out perfect. AND Denise, the owner could not have been more helpful. The house has pretty much everything except your food. We could not have asked for more. THANK You Denise!!!!! James G.
