Our 2,600+ square foot home is the perfect balance between luxury and laid-back comfort. The property has marble floors, tall ceilings, brand new appliances and stylish furnishings. The two master bedrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) are spacious and comfortable, each with a king size bed. The upstairs master also comes with a wet bar, mini-fridge and separate outside entrance. All but one bedroom has adjoining bathrooms. The downstairs guest room and separate bathroom are both easily accessible. All bedrooms are equipped with split AC units and ceiling fans. Please note that there is no AC in the shared areas (living/dining room).

Our home also includes a dining table that comfortably seats six, a two car garage with additional parking in the driveway, large TV in the living area, coffee maker, cookware and dish ware, hairdryers in each bathroom, and fresh linens and towels.

The outside space is perfect for lounging. With two small tables, both well-shaded, the patio is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing brunch or romantic dinner. The pool is small and fun, great for kids.

Check-Out: by 10AM
Early check-ins and late check outs can be arrange in advance based on availability.

Out of respect and consideration for our neighbors, we ask all guests to observe quiet hours between 9PM and 9AM. Please keep noise on the property, especially outdoors, to a minimum during this time. The property is also not suitable for events and large gatherings that involve additional people other than registered guests.

Please note that our cancellation policy is slightly different from what is shown below: 100% refund is offered if your booking is cancelled at least 90-days before the start of your stay.

Family Trip

The house was gorgeous and very close and convenient to the beach. We had a great time with family, plenty of room. We found everything we needed to make dinners each night. Enjoyed sitting by the pool and visiting. More beach chairs would have been a nice touch. Loved our stay and would come again!

A Home Away From Home

My family and I had the most perfect stay here during a time when we were mourning the loss of our grandma/mom. A part of my family and I were traveling from the mainland and the other part are locals who live in a nearby town. This place is quietly placed off a main road and away from large areas of people which provided a little sanctuary and gave us a central space to decompress and spend time talking story and enjoying each other’s company. But it’s not far from Kailua’s shopping area so if you needed something stores like Target were not far away. And it’s an easy walk to one of our favorite beaches it probably took us no more than 10 minutes from the front door to a spot on the sand.Also, there was so much space for 7 adults to comfortably spread out and not be on top of each other. Each room has its own ceiling fan and wall air conditioning which was greatly appreciated. And everything we could ever need was provided for us from every kitchen item to outdoor activity item. We only needed to bring our food and drinks which saved us a lot of money from always eating out. The outdoor space was also really nice! Once the pool maintenance guy arrived the pool was always crystal clear. We’ve stayed at many places when coming home and this house was our best experience by far. On our next trip I truly deeply hope we can stay here again. Thank you Kat for your kindness and for allowing my family to experience a house like this at a time we all really needed it

Spacious Family Getaway

Perfect property for every family. With the four bedrooms and four full bathrooms, everyone was able to have their own space for relaxation. This home was equipped to fulfill all of our needs including the baby’s (crib, high chair, etc) and the location was close to downtown and closer yet to the beach!

Perfect place!

We rented two houses on our vacation and this was our favorite. We had 8 adults and there was room for all of us. The beach was seriously a 2 minute walk away, which was great for the young adults. I know they used the beach towels and I believe they used some of the beach equipment. The kitchen was stocked well which was handy because we cooked breakfast each morning. I appreciated that the bedrooms had AC units in them. We come from a cool, dry area so being able to sleep cool was great! The living area had fans which took a minute to cool it down, but after that, we were able to fit in the spacious space and watch movies. It was in a quiet part of town which was also appreciated. Great place to rent!

Great Location for a 40th Beach Getaway

We celebrated my 40th on Oahu and Katy’s home was the perfect location for both a beach and poolside getaway. We’ve been to Oahu a number of times but this was the first time we’ve ever stayed in Kailua and we’re definitely coming back! We had friends, family, and kids with us so the home’s amenities gave us enough space as well as being stocked with everything that we needed to cook, entertain, and spend time at the beach and pool. It wasn’t just the kids who loved both beach and pool access, us adults did too. The location was KEY as it was literally across the street from Kailua beach which had the softest sand and perfect sized waves for the kids. Thank you Katy for sharing your home with us, we plan to come back again!

Excellent Stay

A family vacation at this home was exceptional. A gated secluded home in complex. The neighbors are quiet. The accommodation was very comfortable, with enough privacy if needed. The bedrooms is as described. Very spacious We had 2 kids under age of 3 yrs old. The pool helped us to cool down. Pool, sand toys available for use. The host Katy is very responsive. We would return to this home in the future

Great experience

My family had great time with this house. The accommodation was quiet and close to the beach, so I could take a beach walk every morning. It was a private accommodation, so it was very safe.

Amazing

Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und gezeigt. Wir haben alle den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus war sauber und mit vielen alltäglichen Dingen ausgestattet. Auch reichlich Pool- und Strandequipment war vorhanden zur Nutzung. Die Lage war perfekt in einem Wohngebiet gelegen, sodass man abends in Ruhe entspannen konnte. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Haus buchen.

Beautiful Home - Really Enjoyed It

We loved this house. Plenty of space, clean, easy beach access, and the host was terrific and very easy to work with. There was plenty of everything you need - plenty of towels, linens, soap, etc. - and it couldn’t have been easier. We really liked that each bedroom had its own A/C unit, which was a huge plus. Very, very, very happy we chose to stay here!

Family vacation

My husband and I took our two teenage daughters and our teenage niece and nephew for a graduation celebration. Plenty of room for 4 teenagers and 2 adults. They loved having the pool and used it every day. Having the beach right across the street was the absolute best part. Location was just what we wanted. Close to one of the best beaches and not super crowded. It was only a 20 minute drive to the busy side of Waikiki. And the drive was beautiful through the mountains. Would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect Perfect Perfect

The house was fantastic!! Rooms for everyone and very spacious family area. We could not have asked for a better location, just a quick walk across a park to a beautiful beach that was never very crowded! Our mornings started out with a nice walk along the beach to a little market for coffee and muffins. Was also great to be able to spend days at the beach then come back to the house for a nice dip in the pool! Can’t get any better than that! We really appreciated that this beautiful house made us feel at home!

Great visit

Stayed for 10 days with extended family in May. House had everything you need in terms of supplies and beach gear. Great location across road from one of the best beaches on the island. Very comfortable for the 6 of us.

Nice Beach House/Great Location

The weather didn't cooperate however it was nice having the house right across from the beach. When the sun came out it was a 2 min walk to the beach and when it was overcast and/or raining the pool was perfect for my little son to burn off some energy. We would love to visit and stay there again.

Summa

Our daughter graduated from HPU and we brought siblings and significant others to celebrate. This place is spacious, 4 bedroom with indoor/ outdoor mixing with a pool. Kailua is the best kept secret of Oahu, as is the beach at lanikai. Simply the best combination of location, space and management.

Returning Kailua Alumni

We loved the property. From the location near the beach to the pool off of the patio to the well appointed kitchen and the ample and comfortable bedrooms with 4 bathrooms it met every need of our family which existed of my wife and I, our adult children and their spouses and our grandchildren. One of the unexpected pleasures was the serenity of this 5-house gated community where the crowds of the popular beach next door faded into our own little paradise. We will go back to this VRBO as often as possible.

Great Place to Stay

Had a great time and the location was perfect. Right across the street from a beautiful beach. Pool was small but adequate for the two teens. Could use a few more cooking pans that didn't have the teflon scrapped off.Also bring your own shampoo and soap as those are not provided as in other VRBO's. But we did have dish soap and laundry detergent provided. Beds were comfy and with all the fans and bedroom air conditioners everyone was happy.

Clean, Spacious, Great Location

We visit the islands each winter, but this was our first time staying at this property. The home is clean and had plenty of space for our family of five. Kailua Beach Park is a quick walk across the street and Lanikai Beach (our favorite on Oahu!) is right around the corner. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants nearby, and we loved getting breakfast and lunch at the Kalapawai Market down the street. Mahalo for sharing your lovely home with us!

Perfect home base for relaxing mini reunion

This house was very comfortable for me, my kids, my brother, my parents, and a friend. One minute walk to the beach, nice pool in the yard, close to restaurants and a cute market, comfortable beds, plenty of space, set up for easy cooking.

Beautiful house and perfect location

The house is spacious and comfortable, and directly across the street from Kailua Beach Park! We were a family of seven - 3 kids, set of parents and a set of grandparents. We had plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The backyard feels cozy and secluded with a pool great for children to play in. Kailua has many great restaurants and eateries. The beach is long and beautiful and has subdued waves great for kids. There is also a walking/bike path too. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed, and the laundry in the garage was so appreciated! Each room has A/C, and two sets of keys and two garage openers were provided. Just a note, our GPS tried to take us to the wrong driveway, the correct one has a long hedge in front of the property and a black metal gate, as it shares a driveway with a few other homes. We really loved staying here and it was a great place to call home for our vacation!

Not only was it built in 2007, it sits within a small secluded and private gated community.
