Just Steps To Mission Beach with Parking for 2 cars

The Beach Haven is perfectly located just steps from Mission beach and close walking distance to stores, restaurants and the Garnet strip. The house is a newly renovated stand-alone 2 story home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen and patio. It is the perfect home-away-from-home on the ocean-side of Mission Blvd.

Our home is walking distance to Pacific Beach, shopping, restaurants, attractions, biking, surfing, Belmont Amusement Park and Mission Bay. 

There is parking for 2 medium size vehicles or 1 large vehicle in the back and a private patio in the front.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator, gas range, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender as well as fully stocked with cookware, silverware, plates, and glasses.
Our home also has a washer/dryer, a big screen HD TV on the main floor.

The house sleeps 9 guests. 2 of the bedrooms have queen size beds and the third has a bunk bed with a full-size on the bottom and a twin on top. On the main floor there is a full size sofa bed.
Amenities: Hi-speed wireless internet, HD TV's and BBQ. Included in the rental: All utilities (water, gas/electric, trash pickup) 
Located conveniently close to major San Diego freeways, a short drive will take you to various golf courses, La Jolla, Ocean Beach, Pt. Loma, Downtown (Gaslamp, Little Italy, East Village).
*7 nights minimum over 4th of July*
Depending on the season, we may not approve booking requests that leave a one night vacancy before of after the request. We also may not approve two night weekend bookings that are requested more than two weeks in advance. For these situations it is better to send an inquiry rather than a booking request.

*PETS* All pets need prior approval from the owners. If approved the pet fee is $25 per pet per day. This is an add on fee that will be charged after the reservation has been accepted

Great location by Mission Beach. The house itself was fine. Not great but fine. We were able to park our suburban in the parking spot.

Fantastic location right near the beach. Loved it!! So many amenities and very clean. Want to live there! Only thing was no AC which was hard for us East Coasters during heat wave - but we understand it was “bad weather” for San Diego. Thank you!

We had a great stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, and the host was responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Perfect location to quickly head to the beach or bay. Easy walk to many restaurants and shops. Loved that there was beach chairs, towels and toys for easy beach trips with my kids.

Nice home with close proximity to the ocean. A bit too close to Main Street for my husband and difficult to leave windows open at night d/t noise. Kitchen and living space including outdoor patio was perfect for our family getaway. Parking is tight for two cars, but we found if we angled the care (Highlander & Tesla) we were able to fit them in. When we arrived on Thursday evening the trash cans were full and the odor and flies were intense and we were a bit fearful that it would be all weekend when there wasn’t any pickup on Friday afternoon, but we’re thrilled when the very nice garbage guys picked up on Saturday am!! In all we had a great time!!

Fantastic property and location! All you need to bring are your clothes, the property has everything you need to enjoy the beach and feel right at home. Great communication with property manager. Our dog already misses the beach thanks for letting her stay! Will stay again 100% thanks.

Great location very close to Pacific Beach. It was nice being on the beach side of Mission Blvd and not needing to cross the busy street to get to the beach. Home was one of the best stocked ones we have stayed at. Pleasantly surprised the paper products and trash can bags were stocked to last the entire week we stayed. Normally we would have to make a store run to stock a VRBO rental we stay at.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay! It was centrally located to restaurants and walking along the beach. We went to LaJolla and it was so easy to get around!

Great place and location! Had pretty much all the amenities we could have expected. Short walk to so many restaurants, the beach and bay. Parking spot was great because we went to Legoland and the zoo on our trip and a car was necessary. The main living area was a little small for 4 adults and 4 kids to hang out but we didn’t come to San Diego to sit on the couch so it was fine! We loved mission beach so much.

perfect beach stay

This was the perfect location - 1 minute walk to ocean and and a good variety of restaurants. Property manager was very responsive to any questions/inquiries. Property was comfortable and clean overall. Hope to stay here again!

We loved our stay. When we didnt have enough tissue paper they brought us some within an hour. Very attentive in making sure our needs of baby furnishings were met. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

The house had nice amenities like beach chairs and it provided beach towels. There was also a large box of beach toys for children to play with like buckets, shovels, and so on. The patio area was well enclosed such that we could let our granddaughter roam around and not get into anything too dangerous.The back of the house had an outdoor shower, which was awesome for getting all of the sand off of you before you entered the house. I had a towel nearby to dry us off before we went in.The biggest thing when planning your trip to this place is keeping an eye on the weather. Although 86 sounds OK, with the humidity it was a little uncomfortable. Although we had all the windows open, it was still a little warm inside. I didn’t think it would be that much of a problem when I first booked, but it was a little uncomfortable sleeping. The rooms have fans and that was nice. There is no AC to the house.Another consideration is the proximity to Mission Boulevard. With the windows open, you can hear all the traffic on Mission Boulevard like the sound of loud motorcycles, racing cars and other noises. It was difficult to sleep through the night. My little granddaughter got scared a few times in the middle of the night with some very loud sounds woke her up. Suggest some good ear plugs to help you sleep.Overall my family had a great time. We spent the majotiy of the time on the beach which was nice and close and an easy walk with our gear.

Both enjoyed living living in Vancouver for over 20 years, but have always wanted to return to Southern California. The Beach Haven is the perfect home away from home for them and they are happy to let others enjoy the experience.

Mission Beach was always a preferred location as they like the relaxed casual atmosphere and the surfing is wicked :) The Beach Haven was chosen for its location. Steps away from the beach, close to activities and walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
