Amazing spot and the property owners were great and helpful during our stay. The dogs were a huge bonus. The place was well stocked for all our needs, very clean, and had some nice views of the large field which occasionally had some horses!

Fabulous stay. Beautiful location. Friendly, helpful hosts. Impeccably designed interior, very comfortable and well-appointed kitchen, and bath. The location is so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and big sky. The horses are beautiful, and Keira and Cora, the barn staff, are generous and welcoming. My only regret was not bringing more carrots and apples! Recommend highly.

Beautiful and peaceful setting in a great location

Our stay was lovely! Some highlights were: the picturesque setting, the fresh flowers that greeted us on arrival, the welcoming communication from the host, the location (just 10-15 minutes to downtown/Water St!), the serene mornings watching the horses, the magical stargazing from the porch, and the clean, comfortable cabin (also slept great - it was so quiet). We will definitely be back!

This cabin was just perfect for our visit to Port Townsend and a few day trips to the surrounding area. Spacious, clean and quiet, it exceeded expectations! Highly recommend!

Cottage/cabin in the meadow

Absolutely perfect! We came for Fiddle Tunes Festival and had a great hideaway for after some great Irish sessions at the Fort! The birds, frogs, deer, fox, breezes, starry nights never ceased to please. Loved our morning cuppa on the porch after very comfy sleep.

Wonderful Port Townsend Cabin

We have stayed here twice…would have stayed a third time, but they were booked. We love the charm and quaintness of the cabin. It suits us perfectly! We look forward to our next visit. The property manager and the owners are all wonderful people!

Country dreaming

Wonderful cabin on a picturesque acreage. The cabin was spotless and all of the little details and amenities were thought of and provided for. The bed was comfy as were the couch and chairs. We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay and will be back soon.

Perfect place for quiet solitude

We have been staying in PT for the last 15 years while taking classes at FT Warden. I wish we had found this place a long time ago. It is just perfect for us, and the dog. Close to town, quiet, everything we needed and more.

We absolutely loved everything about this cabin—it was peaceful, private, and the perfect getaway for my husband and me. Every detail was so thoughtfully curated, from the cozy décor to the quality of the kitchen utensils (a dream for people who love to cook!). Everything was clearly labeled and beautifully organized, making it easy to settle right in and feel at home. You can tell the host poured so much love and care into creating this space—it’s extraordinary. If you’re looking for a quiet, restorative escape in Port Townsend, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

A Magical Place!!!

Well beyond expectations. Not only clean and spacious, but full of windows with wonderful lighting and views of horses being trained in the expansive pasture garden lands. If you love nature this is an ideal place to stay!!! And the bonus is that it is dog friendly!!!

Beautiful cabin in a quiet, lovely setting.

The cabin was beautiful and the setting quiet and lovely. Three possible improvements: Fix the windows that are taped open, make the outside garbage can more accessible (we couldn't find it), and leave some staples in the kitchen.

Hi Deborah, Thank you for your review and comments. I think I'll put a sign on the bin or a map in the binder so folks don't wander around looking for it. The previous guest wanted to keep bugs, etc. out so we taped the screen gaps. It's been a hot summer. We have a few basics in the bottom drawer in kitchen, but if we leave things in the fridge, like condiments, we've found that guests don't use them. But I'll check out the drawer and see what else could go in there. We hope to see you back at Winterchill Farm. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Susie

Great time

We totally enjoyed our time! We were in town for a family reunion at Fort Worden- Port Townsend was a cute place to explore and then head back to the cabin to rest in the peace and quiet! Very clean and all the little details were lovely! Thank you!!!
