We would like to clarify that the property is a duplex consisting of two virtually identical units, each with exactly the same floor plan, two bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The only difference is an additional loveseat in one of the units. Both are offered at the same rental rate. We regret that the accommodations did not meet your expectations but are pleased that you enjoyed Calistoga and found our suggestions for local attractions helpful. A bit awkward, however all the plumbing had been set up by a previous owner and we would have had to re-plumb the entire house at a huge cost. Sorry for the inconvenience. Only thing I can say is, it makes for friendly conversation in the morning! Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks for the input. It always makes it easier for us as hosts when the guest lets us know when they are in the unit that they need something. We have a number of extra pots and pans we would love to have the guests use but dont want to clutter up the kitchen too much. Glad they had a good visit here and hope they come back soon.
