Two (2) bedroom, one bathroom resort style Condo with new patio seating to enjoy MAGNIFICENT Ocean view. Amenities include private beach with BBQ grills near sands. The golf cart comfortably seats four adults (see picture!).

Relax in clean and comfortable condo with equipped kitchen to entertain your guests. Or just take your own GOLF CART into town of AVALON for restaurants, shopping or other fun outdoor activities like jet skiing, kayaking and horseback riding to name a few.

* Due to our HOA policy the driver is required to be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.

Guests can contact owner with any special requests or concerns. Our goal is to provide you a hassle free and fun stay at Hamilton Cove, a resort like get away. Good place to bring a family with playgrounds for children and IDEAL for active professionals who want to play in the sun. By popular demand: Wi-Fi in the unit is now available for those who insist on working while they vacation!

Disclaimer: the condo comfortably sleeps four adults and up to 2 children comfortably. We are willing to accommodate up to six but past guests suggest it's 'quaint' for six adults.

Catalina Island is now in 3rd Level Water Conservation; we ask for our guests to please be mindful of their water use.

Great birthday family trip!

The property was wonderful - clean, comfy beds, all kitchen utensils you could need, etc. The view is out of this world. We used the pool too which was clean and the kids loved it. Having the golf cart to explore Avalon was the topping on the cake. Great stay! Highly recommend!

Beautiful ocean views. Listing said there was an elevator. No elevator. This was a big deal. Stairs: 84 down and 75 up. Our disabled relative could not attend because of this. Nice to have golf cart but there were no instructions about how it worked, like push hard on the gas to make it move; where is the gas tank; and its safety, to me, was questionable: lots of play in the steering wheel; hard to brake. No cone filters for coffee maker; no soap for shower (but shampoo), handle missing on shower. For 2 nights, we didn’t complain to management. As we were leaving we found the “Welcome” book under the TV. This should be left on the kitchen table. Had to call to see where the garbage cans were - down 84 stairs! Veronica was nice enough to say she would take care of it.

Great spot and spectacular view!

We stayed here for two nights for a fun getaway with friends. The place was very nice and had a beautiful view! The golf cart was a nice addition and made it easy to get around. Tip for future travelers - drop your luggage at the top of the hill by building 2, less stairs to take your luggage to the condo.

Great place! Very clean and amazing views. Took my wife and 2 daughters for my wife’s 50th birthday and we all had a great time. It was nice having a golf cart to cruise the island. Well equipped unit. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay in Hamilton cove! The view was spectacular! The unit was very nice and met our needs! It was nice to have access to the golf cart to get to and from!! Overall a great experience!

The condo is located in Hamilton Cove, a quite little neighborhood. The condo had excellent views. It was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful view, great amenities

The apartment is located in the middle of Hamilton Cove community which is a resort on the side of the mountain next to the ocean beaches. It has a beautiful view out to the ocean and the neighbors are friendly. The complimentary golf cart is essential for going into Avalon for food, activities and transportation off and around Catalina Island.

Great Condo!

Great location, amazing views, fully equipped kitchen, and very clean. Good communication with Tom and Veronica. Golf cart was older as previously stated, but got us anywhere we wanted to get to with no issues. Only wish there was AC, it was hot at night.

Jazz Trax 2022

Great views, with convenient location to the Avalon Ballroom which we visited for several days for the Jazz Tax Music Festival in Oct. 2022. Golf cart was great and allowed us the freedom to travel within the Avalon area.. Great kitchen with everything needed to cook meals instead of dining out..

Relaxation by the ocean

Couldn't have been happier with this accommodation. Larger kitchen is the hub of the unit. The rooms are quite small but who wants to dwell in there when the balcony with an awesome view is present. Created great memories sitting on the balcony with friends watching the sky turn black while listening to the waves crashing. Small BBQ came in handy one evening and the golf cart use was great to get in to town and back. We cannot wait to return.

Amazing

This place is a hidden gem! The location and views are absolutely amazing. Sarah was extremely courteous and always made sure we were well taken care of. The condo itself was clean with every amenity one would ever need. I even cooked a 3 course meal and had all the cooking supplies I needed! Waking up while in bed and watching the sunrise over the mainland was truly breath taking. The condo also had a golf cart that we used to get around the island. Would recommend this property to anyone!

Great location and ocean view

The ocean view was the highlight of our trip, as well as the location away from the busy town, the pool, and the golf cart. The kitchen was pretty well-stocked for our meals in the condo. We spent some days relaxing around the complex and some days touring around the island and enjoyed everything it had to offer. The dryer was not functioning but the property manager Veronica was very helpful and resolved the issue. We did have to plan our packing and shopping trips to avoid carrying large loads up the steps, but we did get good exercise. :-)

Fabulous views! Tiny beds.

This complex is beautiful. Our family of 4 stayed in this unit (mom, dad, 2 teenage boys). Kitchen is well-appointed. Comfy furniture in dining and living areas. Beautiful balcony views. Downside was the two bedrooms have very small beds (full-size I think). Also the golfcart is very old and you have to smash the brake all the way down for it to slow down. Upside, owner was very communicative and responsive. Also pullout couch was comfortable.

The only good thing about this property is the view. The furniture is very sloppy missing an umbrella, the neighbors can see inside your condo from the sides. Grandma wasn’t feeling so good about 2 weeks out from my vacation. I emailed Tom saying we may need to cancel. He responded by saying “you’re not getting your money back Dante“ their cancellation agreement says that they’ll try to rent the property out for you so you can get a refund. I called Victoria three days prior to our check-in asking for an early check-in. Her first response was how much are you gonna pay me? She said she’ll call me back never did. Day before our arrival I called her asking for an early check-in. She said she’ll call me back and never gonna call back. The day of our arrival I called her asking if we can check in an hour early. Never got a call back. The place has a major mold problem. See the photos. I have attached. There’s a few areas where the ceiling is leaked and never repaired. The bathroom tub:shower has mold all over it. The baseboard has mold. They put a newspaper to level out the tables outside. This is a rundown condo 1 bedroom split into 2 rooms. All they care about is your money. They’re not willing to give you an hour or more to make it more convenient for you to clean up and to get to the ferry dock. These guys do not want you to enjoy your trip at all. They made us wait until three to check in. We found out from the neighbor that nobody’s been there for a few hours.
Very dirty did not work.
Bathroom fan barely works very dirty.
Shower pest everywhere, moldy all around.
Above the living room leak smelled like mold

THE GOLF CART WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE UP AND DOWN THOSE HILLS. CELLULAR PHONE SERVICE -AT AND T WOULD NOT WORK WHICH PREVENTED US FOR CALLING OUT FOR TRANSPORTAION SEVICES

Amazing stay with views to die for! Pros: -clean place -views -comes with golf cart -deck has amazing views with seating for 4 + small grill -they are super fast at helping and responding with anything we needed help with -private beach was AMAZING -- we loved floating around and hanging out there vs. the other beaches in town -place was stocked with 2 beach chairs and a floaty, some snorkle gear :) Cons: -rooms are very small (as mentioned in other reviews), we had 6 people (late 20's, early 30's) we had a great time regardless and were expecting that. They have a pull out couch and blankets provided :) -patio is not partitioned, we had friendly neighbors so it ended up being ok but its basically one giant patio for everyone with chairs/grills that segregate your private patio from others so there is no privacy

Very misleading & disappointing

We have stayed twice prior in Hamilton Cove and still love the location. This property however needs work and better explanation. 1. it's really not 2 bedrooms. they took 1 BR & split it in two- no dresser, no nightstand, no closets, no place to hang clothes at all- they do have some hooks but no hangers- this was our biggest upset; the bedrooms share open windows so no privacy. if you close the windows between the second room suffocates as there are no outdoor windows; 2. the golf cart is dangerous- it gives off noxious fumes for the passengers in back- do not close the cart- you will pass out. this is a huge, dangerous hazard and should not be used; steering is quite sketchy also- not stable; 3. no front door handle- it's missing; 4. Shower handle broken off also & constantly dripping water; 5. there are 6 chairs on balcony- 2 have broken bottoms so they need to be thrown out as they are unusable; 5. window is broken. 6. couldn't see out the windows as they are so filthy. Overall after staying in about 25 VRBOs over the years, this one probably one of the most disappointing. We will be back to Catalina, but will never stay in this unit. Our advice is invest some money into this unit- be upfront and let people know this is really not 2 bedrooms, but 2 dens with beds.

A very lovely property with excellent views. It was very nice to have access to Avalon but still escape to a quiet, Mediterranean-feeling apartment at the end of the day. Would definitely stay again!

The location and view are amazing! The check-in process was very easy. We had access to adequate kitchen, bath, and laundry amenities. We reduced our rating due to lack of cleanliness, minor repair needs in the bathroom, and condition of the golf cart. Also, it would have been helpful to know we needed to climb 83 stairs, as two family members have minor health issues. Overall, we had a great vacation!
