This is an oceanfront vacation rental in the world-famous Florida Keys on secluded southern end of Summerland Key, mile marker 25; if you know, you know it freatures location, location, location!
The house is an open floor plan with panoramic Atlantic Ocean views and a large wrap-around deck. It includes the best of both worlds: an oceanfront private sand beach and protected canal dockage with instant access to open water. Enjoy sunrises, the glow of the southern sky at sunset, and the night sky. When was the last time you saw the Milkyway?
The Key-ver beach house offers you a home base for fishing, diving, and adventures by sea, quick trips to Key West for tours, shopping, or happy hour and a quiet place to kick back and enjoy island life with a spectacular view.
Included with the house are:
-Protected canal dockage for one private vessel up to 36'
we will consider 2 boats (size for dockage will be considered)
-Private oceanfront sand beach
-Hot tub with/ocean view in the shade under upperlevel deck
-High-speed wifi

The south end of Summerland Key is quiet and exclusive. No long canal rides to figure out the wind and conditions, look out the window and choose when to go, 600' ride to Niles Channel then easy access to the gulf side or ocean side.

About the Living Space: The house is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom elevated living space with an open floor plan. Off the main living area are two bedrooms: the ocean view bedroom with a king-size bed, and the palm room has a queen bed, with a canal view and south side window ocean view; the palm room also has its own bathroom. The sunroom offers a panaramic ocean view with a day bed that folds out to a queen size bed as well. Central air, ceiling fans, and tile floors throughout the upper level living area. Enjoy the large upper-level open air deck under which sits an infinity view hot tub and area for shade seekers. A laundry room in which outdoor gear may be stored is located on the lower level, as is a bate fridge and icemachine. There is also a secluded outside shower (with an ocean view) for your enjoyment.

Anfitrión: Grace and Bud
Bud and Grace have been married for almost 40 years. We share the love of the ocean, environment, and watersports with each other, our 3 adult children, and their families. We are scuba divers, avid boaters and aviators. Our favorite vacation destination was the lower keys until we moved to Summerland, over 25 years ago. We specifically love Summerland Key, its open space, the neighborhood, and direct access to blue water so much that in 2013, we established the Key-ver beach house. The name 'Key-ver' is a play on our last name and is pronounced the same way. Whether by land, sea, or air, there are plenty of fun and unique excursions in the Lower Keys and the Key-ver beach house is a great home base. We look forward to sharing this vacation destination and the beauty of the southern end of Summerland Key with you.

Location, location, location for a great vacation! Our oceanfront beach house is one of the very few homes that have an oceanfront beach and protected canal dockage with instant access to open water. The southern end of Summerland is a special place; its open space is filled with palm trees, tropical gardens, native plants, birds, and other wildlife that share the island with those fortunate enough to find and take the time to enjoy it. We hope that you will enjoy our beach house on Summerland Key and experience island living and all that the lower keys have to offer.
The Key-ver beach house has served boaters, fishermen, divers, enthusiastic cyclers, and many people who just want to explore the keys. It is a great house in a very special location to do all that and more.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad
The views are truly where the sea and the sky meet. The ocean view from the house is spectacular. Our pictures do not do the ever-changing panoramic view justice. You will have to see it and enjoy it for yourself. Very few homes have oceanfront and protected canal access as this one does. On calm days watch flats fishing and on windy days, kiteboarders to Pye Key flats for your entertainment; and dolphins swim by, near shore. The neighborhood is quiet, located a mile and a half from the overseas highway, off the beaten trail. Summerland Key is close enough to Key West to make daily or nightly trips, yet far enough away to enjoy the island breeze, watch the ever-changing ocean, and have a stellar view of the night sky.
