this is the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed at the property and it never disappoints. everything was clean, all we needed was there and the neighborhood is always peaceful. Great hosts. We will be back again!

It was quiet and remote but plenty of neighbors! It was a great house and well kept. We truly enjoyed our stay, would recommend and would go back!

A really nice house.

We stayed there for the wedding we went to. It is a little out of the way, but worth it. We did enjoy our stay there. We would stay there again if need be. It was nice to have a flat yard for the kids to play.

Great for multi-family

Plenty of space for 2 full families. Kitchen is fully stocked with any tool you may need! Very clean and quiet.

What a great stay

This farm house was located in such a great spot. We enjoyed the horses and cows from the side porch. Perfect spot to get our son off the AT and visit for a few days. A+ they even baked us brownies and welcomed us in when we got there.

Great place to stay

This property was a very nice place to stay in the country. It is remote and access is windy country roads but it has good access to surrounding areas. The owner is very accommodating and welcoming. The home is clean and provides all necessary amenities. I would stay here again.

Relaxing Retreat

Granny Branch Inn is a very relaxing comfortable place to stay. Close to hiking, fishing and hunting. Grayson Highland StatePark and Mount Rogers 50 minutes. Surrounded by a beautiful valley.

Easter Weekend Getaway

The house and location were perfect for a weekend get-away. Bonita was easy to contact and the brownies provided at check-in were a great treat after the drive. We had everything we needed for our small group and the fenced yard for the dogs made the stay. We would definitely return and recommend for anyone in the area.

Quiet & relaxing

We enjoyed the quietness & relaxation. Bonita met us upon arrival & was easy to contact when needed. She had brownies on the table when we walked in. Yummy! Nice place to stay when wanting to get away for quiet time.

Weekend stay

An enjoyable experience. Nice and quiet. Very cozy and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the brownies! Sitting on the porch swing watching the kids play with fireflies in the yard is something I’ll never forget.

Granny Branch Inn

Family stayed at Granny Branch Inn so they could fish several days at Cedar Springs. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. It was convenient for fishing and sharing a male bonding experience. Perfectly located to explore Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area

If you're looking to stay at a home with character and a wonderful host to explore all this area provides (hiking, horseback riding, fishing, jeep trails), look no further. While the bones of the home is old, it is one of the cleanest rental homes I've ever stayed. It reminded me of staying at my grandmother's home in rural Appalachia when I was kid except with newer furniture, kitchen hardware, and modern washer / dryer. I loved it!

Awesome place!

My friends and I were looking for a place close to Damascus for Trail Days and to Ride the Virginia Creeper trail. What a wonderful place to stay! 4 beds, 2 bathrooms, fenced in yard (we didn't bring pets) with awesome views on the ride in. I don't have the vocabulary to say how great this place is! I didn't get a chance to meet the owner (wished I could have) but there was a tray of brownies on the table when we arrived

Socially Distanced Get Away

The Granny Branch Inn is a quiet and peaceful respite from the world. The only noises are cows, horses, and an occasional car. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed the fenced back yard while we sat on the back porch. Brownies were waiting for us on arrival.

Great Owner Cute House

3 of us stayed here while fishing over the weekend. Cute house, nice and quiet just like we wanted. Bonnie is the best owner/property manager you can ask for. Baked a plate of brownies for us. Wifi is surprisingly fast for how remote the location is. 3 phones and 1 laptop was no issue for its bandwidth. Was able to make clear calls no problem.

Fishing Trip Stay

My husband, son, daughter in law, niece and her husband had a 3 day fishing trip planned nearby. I suggested this place rather than a hotel so the family would be more comfortable and be able to visit during non-fishing time (something separate hotel rooms just doesn't accommodate). The house was absolutely PERFECT for their trip. Bonita was very communicative (giving very detailed directions as well) and was kind enough to give them an extended check out time when I messed up the reservation and did it through the wrong date. As luck would have it, they got rained out the last day and the extended check out was perfect! Not only was the house close to their fishing destination, it was very clean and comfortable and she even had a plate of brownies waiting on them when they arrived! My husband and son are coming back in October for another fishing trip and he already told me to reserve the house for that trip too! We could not have been happier with the entire experience. They are looking forward to staying again!
