Cottage was clean and creates a unique experience. Wifi worked well. Access is through a gravel road. Property is secluded and therefore creates a excellent atmosphere.

A fun house to stay in. The caboose, fishing bridge and stream were a very nice addition. Very quiet location. Along the road into the Mt Rogers Rec Area, so easy to hike or drive up into the Rec Area.We made day trips to Grayson Highlands, Sparta and Marion.Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay, even though it was cold. The host provided lots of space heaters to keep us warm. I wish we had brought the kids, they would have loved to have bunked in the caboose!

Relaxing family getaway

Property was great a quiet but still close enough to town. Really enjoyed feeding the ducks and fish.

This was a great place to stay for a few days in the mountains. My son stayed in the creek and enjoying the water. A nice relaxing porch swing that overlooked the creek. We would stay here again (and probably will).

A great quiet get away

Wonderfully quiet and serene setting to unwind. Communication with owner was excellent. Everything needed was provided, and more.

Family fishing weekend

The accommodations were perfect. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. The caboose and covered bridge were charming and the area was perfect to explore. Would definitely stay here again- we all enjoyed it.

Place to relax

We had a great few days, nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the sound of the stream and watching the fish and ducks swim by.

Secluded property

Very nice property and very secluded. Will definitely stay again. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the caboose. Feeding the trout was also enjoyable.

We came for a family reunion nearby. My 2 year-year-old great niece and her parents really enjoyed staying here. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

Amazing setting!

Roger has excellent communication and was incredibly helpful! This is one of the most peaceful places I have stayed. The area is absolutely beautiful!
