Family Vacation

Loved having 6 bathrooms. But with 10 people staying for 10 days ONLY one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Only one roll of paper towels for the entire time of our stay. The pool was cold and green upon our arrival. Contacted the host and the pool company was there within 20 minutes! Then the dryer didn't work, again had to contact the host but he responded so quickly and the manager was there within minutes! Unfortunately, the pool heat and pump stopped working with three days left of our stay and we were so busy we did not bother the host again. Something is definitely wrong with the pool and pump system. Could also stand to have a few more pots, pans and storage container because we cooked evening meals. We put left over pasta in a plastic water pitcher because nothing else to place the pasta in!A few nightlights would be beneficial as well, so you didn't need to turn on bathroom lights or leave hall lights on for smaller kiddos. Overall, would not hesitate to rent this again.

Great host, good property

In general, the house was clean and accommodating. The property had some issues (some minor, a couple major), but overall it met the needs of our trip. The host and management company were very responsive. The rules of the neighborhood were emphasized in our check-in documents, but they were not enforced.

The property was beautiful, the only thing was it took forever to get hot water and there was no water pressure in 5 of the 6 bathrooms. Other than that everything else was great!Regards,

Disney trip

Upon arrival there was an odor in the house due to the garbage disposal being so clogged- when we ran water there was so much food in the drain. They finally fixed it after we called to find out if they were coming to fix it. Then it didn’t work again. Being the holiday it was crazy busy in the neighborhood, it took us over an hour to get through the gate. The furniture wasn’t large enough to fit a large family and the beds were very low to the ground and not very comfortable. A lot of police activity and not much parking. I wouldn’t recommend for families with small children. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned well at all.

My family and I loved this beautiful house. The pool and spa are always warm/heated with a safety net around it which was great for my young son and had pool noodles onsite too. Took us about 15 minutes to all jump in and have fun. The kids were in there everyday. Rooms were large, clean most have ensuite bathrooms. Games room on site and extra games at the Clubhouse. Shuttle bus to and from the house to the Clubhouse, although it is a short walk away and they run events daily from bingo to karaoke. There are supermarkets within a 10 minute drive from the gated community so you don't have to always eat out, you can prepare meals in the kitchen which is full of all the utensils and appliances you need. There are 2 living areas which are great for inhouse movie and games nights with your guests if you don't want to go to the Clubhouse. It's about 15-20 minutes (depending on traffic) to the retail park which offers great shops, something for everyone and is less than $15 for an Uber. There are also plenty for restaurants around the road where the retail park is and you. You're about 25 minutes from the outlet malls, Disney, LEGO and Peppa Pig World and other great fun activities (too many to name) but grab so coupons from the Clubhouse to save a few bucks. It's about 40 minutes from MCO International airport depending on traffic. We had no issues and can't wait to return. We can't wait to go back

Great Location and Home

Overall we had a great experience here! When we first arrived, we noticed the pool seemed a little foggy and green. We contacted the managing company and owner and someone was out that evening to fix it and it was swimable the next morning! The house was clean and for the most part, everything was as expected. The couch was extremely uncomfortable and not the same as the pictures, but we used it very little as the weather was great and we were always outside! We would recommend the house to anyone, the Clubhouse, which was just a 10-minute walk, was a great way to spend our days lounging and the area felt safe and very well cared for! Great place.

Great house walking distance from club house

Great house for 2 to 3 small families. The hot tub and pool worked awesome! Perfect floorplan for a group. private bathrooms. Gated community. Will be back again!

OK in Champions Gate

This seems to be a classic case of out-of-town owner with bad local management. Owner is super responsive and super kind. He clearly values his property and wants his guests to have a good time. And the house truly is nice...... Unfortunately, management has let this property go quite a bit. Any issues addressed with management were taken care of, but some of the issues never should have happened with regular maintenance and care of the property. The only complaint the we have for the public, is the couches in the listing pics are not the couches in the home. The couches in the home are much, MUCH too small for a home that sleeps 14. Not sure when they were replaced, but pics should be updated to reflect change.

Spring Break

Great stay. Needs more baking and cooking utensils. Needs more furniture outside. Needs another fridge… 1 fridge for 16 people is not enough. Other than that the stay was wonderful.

Terrible House

This property needs some updating. The rug in the living room was dirty. The master bedroom by the kitchen had cockroaches in the sink and my daughter was bitten by some type of bug in her upstairs bedroom and she didn’t sleep in the bed for the remainder of the stay. My niece also saw a bug in her bed.

Winter Break

We were 6 adults and 6 teens/tweens! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own sleeping space . Nice couches upstairs for kids to hang. However , there was a small couch downstairs and the adults had to sit at table. Outside was not enough seating for everyone at all. Otherwise , great communication and location

Some what dissapointed in the experience but house was nice and clean.

I did not get to stay at champions gate…. I was contacted just before our trip. I was relocated to a different house in a different neighborhood I appreciated them taking care of that. However it was a neighborhood With all the pools and water entertainment. We were traveling with kids that were looking forward to that. And was not given any refund. I understand the house and private pool were just as nice and clean. But I booked for the neighborhood experience. I booked as a gift for my niece and nephew 13th birthday. Was hoping for more.

Would I stay here again? Yes, but there is some things I would have liked to know..

We had 7 adults, 3 kids (4-7), and one 1.5 year old. We stayed from Sat late night to Th. early am. The rental was in my mother in laws name not mine, but I am a travel agent and wanted to review & help others. Pros- -The property location was very nice, easy to get around with gps -The house itself was clean the beds were very comfortable -They had a washer & dryer in house, we used dryer daily. Would suggest cleaning lint trap every use it did seem to help otherwise it needed a full hour to dry everything -Kids loved the air hockey table Cons- -House needs some updates- the carpet is quite disgusting, all the doorways & steps pretty much were so worn that if you weren’t carful you would step on tacks and cut your foot. There were a lot of dents, scrapes making it look less nice. -only 1 roll of cheap toilet paper per bathroom which was all used so we had to purchase some. -only 1 roll of paper towels, which we purchased 2 more rolls-went through that as well. Also there were NO hand towels anywhere in the house so you had to use paper towels for cleaning up spills and drying your hands. - only 4 garbage bags, so we had to use a crap ton of Walmart bags. -No laundry detergent or dryer sheets were provided, we brought some from home. Dryer seemed to need a tune up, needed a long time to dry lightly damp towels. -PROBLEM WAS TAKEN CARE OF BUT STILL WANTED TO INCLUDE- You have to pay $210 to heat the pool & hot tub. It was a warm bath water temp (70s) called the mgmt company hot tub is supposed to be at 104. The came Wed but it can take up to 8 hours to heat it up. We did get our $ back but it felt as though the owner was blaming us & jacked us around before finally giving the refund. -Kitchen supplies were very limited. In a house for 12 people you should have kitchen supplies to fit that amount of people! The largest frying pan was big enough for two eggs. Couldn’t cook large meals easily. -The water park- had one slide, a lazy River, a splash pad, & a lounging pool. Kids preferred our house pool! Were told the water park had towels provided, they didn’t so we had to go back home to get towels. -the pool table was too uneven to play. The darts were all broken also. -The downstairs couch was very hard and uncomfortable, didn’t fit more than 3 people. We ended up bringing the upstairs couches downstairs which worked out quite well. Overall it wasn’t a bad house by any means, but many major inconveniences were frustrating!

Great family gathering

We had an excellent time at this vacation rental. My only encouragement is if you are planning on using the pool/hot tub at the home be sure to request that so they have the necessary time to heat it up.

Great Property and location

I absolutely love staying at Champions Gate. The only thing I didn't like about the property was that we were not advise the dryer or dishwasher didn't work. I would have liked to see instructions on how to leave property, for example clean dishes, remove linen, place towels in washer etc. Overall great property. Owner ver responsive at all times and express apologies.

Overall nice house

Overall our stat was wonderful. House was clean and spacious. I didn't care for the check in process with drive out of the way to management office to get pin for door. I felt that was a waste of time. One of the showers hot water was not working did call the number that was given didn't receive an answer or a return call which was disappointing. However we made the best of it. The only thing that I would have changed is that one of the downstairs bedrooms had been the master bedroom.
