When researching the Grand solmar Lands End, we were impressed to discover that it was rated as one of the top 100 hotels in the world. It did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations. The grounds are meticulously maintained and absolutely beautiful. My wife and I are 59 and 49, and most guests seemed to be in our peer group and we didn’t notice any children, so very quiet and peaceful. They have live entertainment almost every night and the vocalists were amazing, not sure why they aren’t signed with record labels, but they would win American Idol right now if they were on that show, hands down amazing. The music they played was 70’s, 80’s and 90’s era, so exactly what we wanted to hear during our stay. The food was typical Cabo, so not what we are used to regarding quality, but certainly not a problem. When we go back we will probably utilize the kitchen more and cook more stuff in our suite because spending $200 at La Rocha wasn’t worth that spend, a little too fu-fu for our taste. We will definitely be going back and will probably stay at the Grand Solmar again. The size of the room and quality was world-class and amazing overall.
