Pacific Vista is a two story beach home on a wooded, sloping
lot that affords a splendid view of the beach, ocean and Three Arch
Rocks. With two stories of windows facing the ocean, this home was
designed to enthrall you with its setting. With three bedrooms and an open
sleeping loft, outlined as our 4th bedroom. The Living Room has a queen sofa sleeper and a futon. This home can comfortably accommodate 10-12 people.

WE ARE ONE OF THE FEW HOMES IN OCEANSIDE WITH A GARAGE!
WE NOW OFFER AN ELECTRIC CHARGING STATION!

For outside enjoyment there is a large, wrap around deck that takes
advantage of the full view of the beach and coast, allowing travelers to
soak in every sight and sound of the ocean. The house is located an
easy 5 minute walk to an outstanding beach area. The kitchen in Pacific
Vista is large and fully equipped. The dining room is very large with seating for eight plus there are 2 leafs stored under the table, for large groups.
The front room has a TV and a wood burning fireplace and sleeping space for 4

Pacific Vista has three private bedrooms plus the loft and two full baths. The
master bedroom has a queen bed and a separate bath. Another large
bedroom has a queen bed and a quiet garden view. An equally roomy
bedroom has a luxury queen hideaway bed and deck access. The
sleeping loft has two twin beds. A futon is also located in the
living room plus the sofa sleeper.

Lovely view - great location

The Travel'in Gal Pals from Texas just wanted to get away from the heat. This house met our requirements. It is up on a bluff with a beautiful view - great breeze when sitting on the deck. We each had our own space/bedroom as well. Two of us walked down to the beach which is not a hard walk if you are used an active person, otherwise, you can drive back down to the lot by the beach. It was an easy drive into Tillamook as well. I highly recommend this house but bring your own tissues - we did not find any in the house.

Beautiful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Heather’s Oceanside property! Everything was perfect for us for our quick weekend getaway to the coast. The home is pristine, the views are stunning, it’s very well stocked and thought-out, and the location is perfectly nestled in the quaintest little beach town. There are a lot of rules, but I think this is what helps keep the home beautiful. We read them thoroughly before heading to the the home and expectations are clearly stated. We brought our own towels as we were only there two nights and didn’t want to spend one of them doing laundry. This made checking out much easier for us. We had a great experience; would love to stay here again!

Quick and easy comfort.

Great house. Beautiful view. Well outfitted. Only draw back is Oceanside is very small and most stores are closed on Monday and Tuesday. You have to go out of town to get services in the off season. Other than that, amazing place with a cool vibe.

Tunnel beach

Great property-loved the view. Loft area-no window coverings-had to provide my own. Water to washer had been turned off-Noticed sawdust on the floor near there so maybe maintenance needed to be done and they forgot to turn back on(or clean up). Overall I would rent this property again.

Resting any Quiet.

Very relaxing. Except when we had to do Laundry.. the Washer leaked, there were wet towels on the floor at the Washer when we got there. Dryer the control knob was broken had a difficult time to get it to come on, It took 2 1/2 hours to do one load of sheets. My wife spent all morning doing laundry!!!

Long check out process

The property was as described, clean, comfortable, well-appointed and with a FANTASTIC view. Easy walk down to beach; the steep uphill would be hard for someone with mobility issues but you can always drive down and back. Really though it's the check out process that's somewhat unrealistic. I am someone who always strips the beds and starts a load of laundry, whether the check out list requires it or not. But washing the towels plus the sheets from all the beds really is a lot to accomplish on morning of your departure. What if you're leaving early and you don't have time to cycle all those loads of laundry? It made me feel like I was pouncing on my guests as soon as they woke up (from their Sunday morning vacation lie-in) to grab the sheets off their bed. Hard to take one last walk on the beach when you're managing all of that.

Spectacular view

Really enjoyed staying here. The property is exactly as described. The view is unparalleled. Very clean. Great location on a quiet street two streets up from the beach. You can walk to the beach in under 10 minutes, easy walk with dogs and an 11 year old. Enjoyed Schooners Restaurant 10 minutes away in Netarts. Heather was very responsive to the questions I had while we were there. As the listing advertises, there is a bunch of check-out activities to do before leaving but it was exactly as advertised so I felt it was fair. We could have looked at the view all day. We had one sunny day and one rainy day, and they were equally gorgeous to watch from the huge windows. You can hear the crashing waves from the living area and 2 ofd the 3 bedrooms. Would stay again!

Gorgeous ocean view!

Five adults, so plenty of room. Suggestions to be added to the description: There is room in the garage for two cars (and two in the driveway). Three bedrooms are on the main level, as are the kitchen, and living & dining rooms. The entrance is upstairs where the loft with two twin beds are. The pictures don’t clearly show that. The living area was very conducive to hanging out together. On Friday evening, we ate at the Upstairs Bar and Grill. I would not recommend it. None of us liked what we ordered, food-wise. Fish and chips undercooked, clam chowder very garlicky, and their gizzards were practically inedible. The kitchen is stocked well with cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc. Like most places, they had a few spices; however, they had three empty pepper containers and grinders. They also need to provide a better can opener. I had to pry lids off partially opened cans. Additionally, I feel that the cleaning requirements before leaving are on the stringent side. I don’t mind throwing a load into the washer.... Or running the dishwasher. However, to wait for the washer cycle to end in order to dry the towels and then start a second load of sheets, to wait for the dishwasher to complete its cycle so as to empty it ~ all of that required us to stay at the house to accomplish the tasks. If we had wanted to use the morning to head out for breakfast or whatever, we really would not have been able to do so. I’m not against cleaning up or hard work but to have to wait on cycles to finish in order to accomplish the tasks, that was not typical. Checkout time is 11 AM and we had to wait until after 11 so we could put away the dishes. We had a great time. Overall, I would recommend this location and house, especially if they tweaked the cleaning instructions.

Wonderful location

We had a good weekend at Oceanside and absolutely loved the location. The views are excellent. The house is very nice and provided amply room for the 5 of us. The kitchen has stuff all over the place. It would be nice if like items were stored in the same places. (I didn't want to rearrange the kitchen myself although it was very tempting) Some of the pans were in rough shape and were actually dirty in the cupboard. The "4th bedroom" really isn't a bedroom at all but it works and would be terrific if the window had a curtain on it. I don't think we will be staying here again since it was a real challenge to get everyone up, showered and have the towels washed and dried by the 11am check out time.

Oceanside ViewS

This house has one of the best views of all rentals in Oceanside. The deck runs along the entire front of the house where we watched beautiful sunsets. The beach is a short walk away. The kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you’d need for cooking your own meals. The house was comfortable for 4 adults. There is a room off of the updated kitchen with great views but less privacy than the other two queen bedrooms. Even though the house is comfortably worn, If you want a place to enjoy ocean views, this is it.

Perfect house!

Wonderful experience start to finish! This beautiful Oceanside home has absolutely stunning views of the ocean. Short walk to an awesome beach. Well stocked kitchen. Great space for multiple families. Owner is VERY responsive and available to answer questions. Enjoyed seeing the beach combing treasures on display in the bookcase. My kids had an amazing time with their cousins. I will absolutely be staying here again!

Best Views in Oceanside!

This is our second year staying at this property and we plan on returning regularly. The views are spectacular, and the proximity to the beach is perfect. The beds are comfortable, the property is well-cared for. The kitchen is well-stocked, and quite frankly with the view, doing dishes isn't such a chore. There have been upgrades since our stay last year that have made a big difference in aesthetics on the inside of the home. Our family loves this home.

Beautiful view

Overall the house was beautiful, lots of room for family and friends. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. BBQ needs to be cleaned/ replaced, outdoor chairs are broken which limited us sitting outside unless we took dining room chairs onto the deck. Beds were comfortable . There is no easy access to the beach without a 15 minute walk. But the views are amazing!! Well worth the money!

Stunning views; great location

The Pacific Vista house is nestled in a gem of a location on the Oregon Coast. Sitting on an unobstructed bluff, the house treats you to glorious sunsets and views of the prominent rock formations offshore just off of Maxwell Point: Storm Rock, Finley Rock/Three Arch Rocks, Shag Rock, and (little) Seal Rock. Oceanside beach itself is a rare find. From the house, you have views of Netarts Bay to your left and rock formations to the right, ticking off what I consider a great ocean view. (There are many places with beaches, too, but the views are generic, uninteresting stretches of sand and water.) Best part: the beach was rarely crowded when we were there. Oceanside is right off the Cape Meares Loop and we took advantage of easy access to Tillamook, the three Capes, Pacific City, and Netarts—all some of the best scenic drives and hiking on the Oregon Coast. Inside the house you have everything you need. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need to prepare meals (which we did, having stocked up for all our food at Fred Meyers; Oceanside itself doesn’t have very many dining options). We bought fresh seafood in Bay City (best clam chowder to go at The Fish Peddler!) and cooked up the best meals at the house. The large dishwasher makes clean-up a breeze. We watched the sunsets on the large wrap-around deck. Make sure you bring warm clothes (a hooded windbreaker for sure) as walks on the beach are chilly. The house itself is cozy with strong floorboard heating and also a wood-burning fireplace (you might want to buy extra firewood). Several things that could be improved: the movie selection is outdated and mostly VHS tapes (whoa, old school!). There is only one main seating option in the living room: a rather lumpy futon sofa. A comfy papasan chair with an ottoman rounds out the other seating option, but that’s set off. In general, more seating in this space would be great. We would often move the dining chairs around the living area to create seating to watch sunset. Finally, the cleaning policy was an eye-opener. You are required to launder and dry the bath towels before you leave and strip the linens from the bed and put them in the wash. As a policy this is fine, except that you are charged a $100 cleaning fee that should probably include this. Overall, however, the house is worth it for the views and location!

Breathtaking views

This home was well stocked with breathtaking views. For the money it was perfect. We had 3 dogs with us. This area has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. My only complaint for this home was that it felt very dated compared to the pictures. But I am sure that is because it is on the beach so it gets a lot of wear and tear. And we brought dogs. The kitchen is well stocked. You won't need to bring a thing. The beds were comfortable. The layout is great for a family. Bring your groceries otherwise you have about a 25 minute drive to safeway. We would book again for sure!
