Welcome to Carolyn’s Cottage on the Lake! This is a beautiful fully furnished 3 BR, recently updated four season home on the north end of Lake George in historical Ticonderoga. Bring your boat and enjoy spending time on the crystal clear waters swimming, fishing, water skiing or just cruising around. (Boat dock included with rental.) Nice quiet location and gorgeous views from the large deck to enjoy your morning coffee and family cookouts. We highly encourage repeat guests.

We love coming here! The street is calm and quiet, and the residents/neighbors are very pleasant. We’ve been coming here for several years, and every time we come, we are surprised with a new upgrade or amenity that was added. Erin is a very accommodating host. Wish we could spend all summer here!

Need a little getaway before the chaos of the school year. This location was so quiet and peaceful. The dock and deck provided great places to sip your morning coffee. I brought my two rescues and discovered my senior dog loves canoeing and kayaking!

Beautiful and comfortable lake front stay

An absolute gem of a home in an ideal lake front location. We enjoyed days out on the lake with kayaks, a canoe and life jackets provided. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast on the beautiful back porch overlooking Lake George. We really hope to return next year for our annual trip.

This rental was immaculate, well equipped with anything and everything we needed. It was luxuriously outfitted with all the modern updates and conveniences. It was very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect and the setting beautiful. It was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. We would love to come back.

Right on the lake!!

The house was super clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Bonus finished basement with huge couch and tv. Perfect spot for teenagers, while adults can enjoy the main living room. The spot on the lake was great. Quiet area, boat launch very close, very easy access to beautiful Lake George. Cook Mountain Preserve hiking trails within a mile of house, great views!! Host is very responsive if you need anything.

Cottage Comfort

Wonderful stay at Carolyn’s Cottage. House was spotless on arrival and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds, nice towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want. The deck off the family room has nice furniture for outdoor dining and a great grill. The star of the show was the beautiful yard and lakefront. Great views and sunrises. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit were lovely for morning coffee and evening wine. Also super convenient to town if you find you need to shop or go out to eat. Thanks Erin for the wonderful hospitality!

Nice get away spot.

Very clean and well kept home. Kitchen has plenty of pots and pans and plates etc for making meals. The back deck was lovely and hasa nice swing and comfortable chairs and a large table. Great spot to vacation!.lwasmucky bu

Fantastic!

The cottage (more so a complete home) was beautiful and very comfortable. Great location on the lake - peaceful and serene. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. I have been enjoying Lake George for 47 of my 48 years and this was one of the best stays there ever!

Lake Front Stay

We had a great stay. Erin's home was clean and comfortable with a nice firepit, kayaks and other amenities. We were looking for a nice place to relax on the water and we found it. I would highly recommend.

This was the house I grew up in and threw out the years it became our vacation getaway. I currently live in Hornell NY and spend alot of my time being extremely busy with my family and traveling. I hope anyone that chooses to spend time at the house leaves as relaxed as it leaves me.

Carolyn's Cottage is named after my mom, who I loved very much. I have such great memories of spending hours on a porch swing with her just rocking and enjoying the sights and sounds. I hope anyone that visits our home takes away great memories of their own.
