Architect designed cabin in the woods, Pender Island

We invite you to relax and enjoy our beautiful, peaceful retreat nestled in five private acres on South Pender Island. The property is sunny and warm with ocean glimpses from the cottage, deck and bathtub. The open concept cottage includes a spacious full height sleeping loft, fully outfitted kitchen with granite counter tops, bathroom with walk-in shower, and outdoor bathtub. The eclectic furniture consists of an antique industrial table and stools, modern sofa and ottomans, and a comfortable queen bed. The cottage, completed in 2013, is close to hiking trails, beaches, Poet's Cove Resort and Port Browning Marina. We try to reduce our environmental footprint through the use of environmentally friendly cleaning and bath products. Please note that pets are not allowed on furniture or the bed.

We had a great time staying in this cabin on Pender. The place is very quiet and private and you are surrounded by trees with a view of the ocean. The cabin itself was very clean and had all the amenities you could need for a nice relaxing stay. The kitchen was particularly well equipped for making meals, and the outdoor tub was a nice treat. Would stay here again!

this is an exceptionable house poised in a beautiful setting high up in the forest with a view of plumper sound & the vineyard on saturna. bath on deck, ample hot water, cozy cabin at night. simplicity & sophistication brought us much pleasure for 11 days. hope to return

A unique and cozy cabin nestled in the woods with a lovely view and all the amenities one could ask for. The outdoor tub was a treat, and the bedroom with a super comfortable bed and view was so cozy. We loved being able to barbecue for dinner and eat outside. The deck at the back and front let you chase the sun. It was so quiet and private. Truly an escape. One note - no TV but there is wifi, so if you must remain plugged in you can, but you won't want to - guaranteed.

This was a perfect cozy cabin to land in for a few nights. It was well equipped, clean, comfortable and had beautiful views of the pacific rainforest.

The host, Sandra was friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions. She has lots of suggestions for places to go and check out. The cottage itself was cozy, quiet and a perfect spot for a getaway.
View from the shower. The outside tub was disconnected due to freezing temperatures but I was cozy and warm inside with the rain shower.
A little landmark in the William Walker Trail, near to the cottage. Worth the hike.
View from the Mount Norman summit. Take a snack up there on a sunny day for a little rest before continuing.
