This is a beautiful property, exactly as advertised. Jerry was a very helpful guide. We were sorry not to actually meet Susan though.There are a lot of rules posted throughout the property. It might be better if these were consolidated in one place!

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We must, however, remark on your comment that "there are a lot of rules posted throughout the property." There is a note in the kitchen and also in the bathroom area. As seasoned Premier 5 * hosts and guests as well, over the past 12 years, our experience has told us that a well placed note in a specific area is more likely to be read than having too much information in the welcome package. We are on a septic system, and we need our city guests to be aware of that while they are in the bathroom area. Mistakes made incur a very significant cost of repair for us. We host guests of all ages, from all walks of life. We believe a couple of notes for guests to be mindful helps keep things running smoothly and thus benefits everyone.

We had a great quiet weekend away. Jerry and Susan were very accommodating and provided everything we needed to help us enjoy our stay. One of our highlights were the cold winter evenings in the hot tub under the stars. We’ll definitely be back for another getaway in the waterfall suite.

This is an immaculate, super cute Vrbo that has everything you need plus more! Jerry and Susie are wonderful hosts who treat you like family. The location is so perfect- lots to see and do in the area.

Perfect cozy getaway

Great experience, the place is very comfortable and relaxing. Hot tub was nice, and Suzie and Jerry were very nice hosts. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay, thoughtful details

Such a cozy and quiet retreat away from the city. All the thoughtful touches were there, the suite was clean and inviting and Jerry and Susie were the perfect hosts. Definitely looking forward to another stay in the Waterfall Suite!

Beautiful natural environment

The hosts Suzie and Jerry worked very hard to please their guests and it shows inside the suite and outside on the site. The waterfalls are an appreciated bonus.

Island Mill Paradise

A relaxed and beautiful natural property rivaling any 5 Star resort. Grounds are immaculate and the ambience of The Waterfall Suite brings back a lost time in our Canadian heritage. Suzie and Jerry go above and beyond to make your stay unique and special. As world travelers, this is a jewel close to home that we were fortunate to discover. Definitely on our re-do list.

Wonderful retreat!

This beautiful property exceeded our expectations. It's the perfect place to relax. Kayaking on the Salmon River was very enjoyable. The Gutzmans were phenomenal hosts. We hope to return someday.

Winter getaway!

The property and hosts met our expectations in every way for a second time. The snowy back drop for the hot tub was perfect. Our only suggestion is for a love seat in the sitting area so we can get super snuggly, we did move the chairs together ☺️ Thanks again for an amazing time.

We're glad you enjoyed your second visit. Regarding the loveseat; the TV swivels which makes the bed the perfect place to snuggle and watch TV with all the cozy blankets, duvet and pillow. We cater to a wide variety of guests and find that the reclining feature of the separate comfortable chairs in the living area is more generally suitable than a loveseat would be. Thanks for choosing us again for your getaway.

Quiet get-away

Suzie and Gerry's property is gorgeous. We have visited in the summer and the fall and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is located about 20 minutes from Picton and all it has to offer (good restaurants, lovely art galleries). Suzie and Gerry are wonderful hosts and will make you feel very welcome.

Simply the best!

We ended our month long vacation at the Mill, the best for last! The cottage was cozy and exceptionally clean. Jerry and Susie are fun, welcoming and warm people. They made us feel like family. A definite must!

Magical!

The Island Mill Getaway is lovingly tended. The property is beautiful, peaceful and a lovely oasis to unwind. The property owners are caring, responsive lovely people. Do not hesitate to go! It is a special spot you will really enjoy and remember!

Wonderful as always

This was our third time staying at the mill. We have enjoyed every season there except the summer. You won't find better hosts anywhere else.

I would give it 10 stars if I could

Perfect place for a quiet get away. The place is unique and stunning. And you aren’t far from town(s). The hosts are sweet and thoughtful. You will want for nothing during your stay. Highly recommend and would love to return!!

Wonderful getaway from it all !

We stayed here over a year ago and still think about it all the time! Loved the location, beautifully decorated suite. Owners are so hospitable and accommodating. So proud their home and garden and how they've transformed it into this gorgeous getaway. The place is perfectly remote but also close to Napanee and PE County to check out wineries and shops. Can't wait to go back again some day!
