Escape and "Be Still Along the River", at this tranquil and private getaway in our King Suite. Take time on the trail, enjoy the crackle of wood (supplied)and the starry sky at the firepit overlooking the River, relax in the one-of-a-kind hot tub room or take in the scenic views as you paddle down the river in the canoe or kayaks. Inside, two fireplaces (seasonally)will hold your gaze while you enjoy the ambiance, 3 smart tv's(one is seasonal), full-service kitchen, comfy king-size bed with 6pc ensuite including a jet tub, a 6 ft double shower(yes, for two if wanted) with rain head and eucalyptus. Total bonus... is the "to die for" glass hot tub room that is a one-of-a-kind! Definitely a guest favorite!!! While enjoying the warm water watch your favorite movie(seasonally), or relax while you take in the views of the River. The kitchen has everything you need to make a delish meal or visit one of our restaurants in the quaint town of Napanee just a couple minutes away. Rejuvenated, Romantic and Rested, all in one as you kick back and enjoy the peacefulness and privacy of your environment.

The space is lovely. Our plans fell through for a houseboat adventure but this property popped up as a fabulous last minute change of plans. Enjoyed the hot tub and location close to Prince Edward County. Great spot!

I stayed here as a solo traveler for a much-needed break, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The peaceful riverside setting was beautiful, and relaxing in the hot tub was a highlight. It was quiet, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. It was the perfect place to unwind, read a book, and simply enjoy the calming views. I would definitely stay again.

5 min from downtown and all amenities on a restful river.  Soft sheets, comfortable bed, shower with three shower heads and two dials allowing for totally different shower experiences within one. Beautifully decorated and designed for two people, road noise present but not heard from inside. Top notch choice for the area, would recommend.

Beautiful property! My husband and I went here to celebrate our second wedding anniversary and it was lovely. Close enough to town to pop into for supplies or for a dinner but still felt very scenic and relaxing. We brought fishing gear (they did have some provided if you don't own any) and caught some pike in the river! Karen and Kevin were very easy to communicate with and excellent hosts. Thank you both for having us!

Absolutely recommend!What a wonderful place! My husband and I got away for 3 nights to this incredible property.We were immediately impressed with all the attention to detail and the little extras that made the stay perfect. Everything from a welcome basket filled with treats, premade ice in freezer, house coats, bathroom/shower amenities, towels, canoe and kayaks, and clear instructions for everything. The location was absolutely perfect. A feeling of being deep out of the city while still only being a 5-minute drive into town.The hot tub room was an amazing bonus. It was clean and ready upon our arrival.The fire by The River's Edge was stunning.Communication with host was quick, efficient and friendly.Highly recommend this place for any couple looking to get away, reconnect and relax.

Excellent spot for an extended weekend stay. Quite locations, close to Napanee which has all you need if you want leave the place. Hot tub was excellent , view of the river with the morning mist was beautiful. Was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our 20th anniversary

This property was exceptional from start to finish - clear and concise communication with the hosts, and a well provisioned unit with everything you could need. Any instructions for using appliances were clear and placed on logical places, and despite the weekend being incredibly cold (-30 C for multiple days straight) the unit stayed warm. Highly recommended.

Hello, we are Kevin and Karen! We are happy to welcome you to Be Still Along the River. Our home is way too big for the two of us, so why not share?! We also live here but only part-time and in the rear of the home. But don't worry, we may not even meet unless you request otherwise. Your King Suite(main floor bungalow of approx 1000 sq ft)and hot tub room(12 months of the year) as shown are totally private to you. We are local business owners and know we have been blessed with a great property and we'd love to share our little piece of heaven with you. We aim to make sure you get to share in the solitude and serenity of the river and we hope our hospitality shows through too! Enjoy!

Everyone may say they have a unique property....but we truly do! Located at Mink's bridge we have a little piece of history we like to share. Mink was the first African American slave to be set free in Eastern Ontario and his family lived here at the bridge. If you'd like to know more about his family's story, we'd love to share it. So yes, we are unique in that nature but also in others....from the glass hot tub room, to the trail, the firepit on top of the old bridge, to a kayaking down the river, there's lots to enjoy while you're here. Or as we have found out with previous guests....it's hard to get yourself out of the cozy suite existence. Something for everyone to enjoy.
