Indian Heaven Treehouse is on a private street nestled within the majestic San Bernardino National Forest (but minutes from town) with tall pines and cedars. This first class, well maintained home will spell-bind you with nature. Guests have said the cabin has views equal to that of Yosemite. With double master bedrooms (Black Bears Den & Princess Red Feather) and a colorful fishing loft (which has a secret fishing hole for family movies and reading) this home is will be your unforgettable forest retreat.

Fantastic snowy winters, this quaint village has been voted best 100 Art towns in USA, wine festivals, Jazz in the Pines, Desert to Mountain Bike race, nearby Lake Fulmor and Lake Hemet.

This extremely special Mountain Home has neck breaking views w backdrops of the Monolithic Lilly Rock and Tahquitz Peak.

A custom designed "Indian Lore Theme'' that reflects the natural elements and beauty of the area with rocks, leather, fur, horns, old oil paintings of Bears and knurled Indian faces.

Home is at approx 6500-6800 altitude, can be snowing at my home and not in the town. In fact, snowmen have appeared on Father's Day!
Every escape to this remarkable retreat will warm your heart and memories, Exceptional custom bedding and towels, themed for each holiday; including accent pillows dining plates, napkins, coffee cups.

PS: pillow and sock fights are allowed.
IMPORTANT: Even though this is an open forest feeling, there are private property's, and my back yard stops at the giant satilite dish and continues to the left. You can snow play on my yard and on the main street when safe. Please no sledding on neighbor's driveways.

We had such a great stay! The cabin was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there. The host was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. We would definitely love to come back!

We had an awesome weekend stay at this beautiful,unique home,My kids and their friends did hiking,fishing,shopping ,exploring the town and so much more.The house has everything we need,Andrea is the best host you can ask for,she is super helpful and considerate ,she made our little get away vacation more convenient and enjoyable!

This place is amazng. Beautiful rooms, well stocked kitchen and the most comfortable beds. The property is simply stunning, so much room for families. Andrea was the perfect host..she provided so many things to do and places to visit. I would rate it a perfect 10 and will definitely be back

Andrea is a wonderful, communicative host who truly wants her guests to have a fantastic stay. We appreciated her thoughtful and personal touches including some fun surprises. The home's location is perfect and the back deck/gazebo is outstanding. Game room is super fun! The two main bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are very private. If you have younger children they will fall in love with the loft bedroom.

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful with tips on things to do in the area. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. We especially enjoyed the gazebo!

We loved everything about our stay. The home is perfectly located near town and close to hiking and nature. The kitchen had everything we needed, and everything was clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing - we never even turned the TVs on. The owner communicated with us consistently and was very helpful with finding local restaurants and activities. We highly recommend staying here!

This place was wonderful. So clean and cozy. So many neat things around the house to look at. The pitdoor gazezo was magical. Views were amazing!!Andrea was just amazing!! Definitely recommend

We had a wonderful experience! Andrea was amazing at letting us know fun things to do and places to go. We saw deer, squirrels, shooting stars and so much more. We had a roaring fire one night where everyone cozied up in front of the fireplace reminiscing and laughing. Everything you could possibly need was available: plenty of cooking items, blankets, towels - well you name it! and Andrea even had a fun birthday surprise for me! I would highly recommend this happy cabin for making warm, joyful family memories. Thank you Andrea.

From the moment of booking to the moment we locked-up to leave, everything was perfect. Our host was very communicative, incredibly thoughtful, and truly did everything to ensure that we had a great getaway in her lovely home. She shared things to see and do in town, restaurant lists, hiking suggestions, and live music options. On the subject of the home, it's like walking into an artful museum of artifacts, history, and FUN! The furnishings, bedding, linens, and towels are high-end (nothing thin and scratchy in this place!).The newly added outdoor Livingroom was where we spent the bulk of our time reading, conversing, watching nature, daydreaming, and relaxing in the comfy chairs. That's where we saw so many birds, squirrels, chipmunks, deer, and even a fox! The reason for our trip was to find a peaceful and quiet town to get our dog away from the stress of neighborhood fireworks. Idyllwild was perfect! The town was incredibly dog-friendly, just ab out every shop-keeper welcomed us in and even had cookies for our pup. A new tradition was born this past weekend and we hope to return to this same special cabin next year.

WOW! This is my first review starting with this word! They home is magical, relaxing, the cleanest place we have ever stayed, and the most relaxation I have enjoyed in just 2 nights! From the fireplace and soaring ceilings, to the endless outdoor areas, this home is absolutely lovely. The decor is so interesting, everywhere you look there are little pieces of interest, from feathers to a bear skin. We were mezmorized by all of the details. Not to mention little gifts and even toothbrushes and toothpaste were provided. Andrea sent all of the info about the home and how to enter a day or two before we arrived. She was so gracious and kind, for example, hiding a little bag for my granddaughter to find. Truly a one of a kind place with a gazebo, outdoor TV, and nature surrounding us high in the mountains. I could go on and on. It was a wonderful experience! Thanks, Andrea for sharing this lovely home with us and for being exactly who you are, a hostess with the mostess!

My family had the most amazing time staying at the Indian Heaven Treehouse. Andrea was a great communicator and provided all needed information prior to the stay. When we arrived at the house, it was welcoming and had the perfect cozy vibe. There were tons of board games, which was the perfect way to hangout and enjoy the beautiful home. We definitely plan on returning, and will recommend this place to any friends visiting Idyllwild.

We loved everything! Andrea, the Host is absolutely amazing. She thought of everything & forgot nothing. She left us cute surprises to find. She is so thoughtful & attentive to your every need & detail. The house is decorated so beautifully. I am very picky about clean & this cabin was spotless. The outside gazebo was over the top! The furniture was comfortable & it felt like home. Do not hesitate to stay here. Your only problem will be leaving!
The house is decorated spectacularly yet so comfy.
Kitchen had everything you needed. I made lots of meals for my family & enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you Andrea for being such amazing Host. We have stayed at many VDBO’s & AirBNB’s bu never had this level of care.

Enjoyed our stay

The property was very well kept and our children really enjoyed all the activities within the cabin. We had a lot of fun and would stay here again if we return to Idyllwild!

Such an interesting house. Unbelievable how many historical objects, books, and items decorate this house. The nature is incredible too and right next to access to Humboldt park trails
