This condo is located just across the street from the beach. The Caribbean Dunes complex offers a large heated pool and hot tub. The pool is heated seasonally. Caribbean Dunes 203 sleeps 6. 1 Queen size bed in the master, 2 Twin size beds in the loft bedroom, 1 sleeper sofa. Saturday to Saturday rental during the peak season!

Destin, Florida is known as "the worlds luckiest fishing village", but we do not stop there! The whitest beaches of Florida and the Emerald Green waters are unmatched. Shop in an upscale outdoor mall, or one of many boutique stores. When you are through shopping, there are endless places to enjoy the local fare or just get a quick bite. Don't forget about our water park, amusement parks, and our dozens of golf courses.

Lots of fun in Destin!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice and clean. Fantastic location. The only complaint is: it is very dark in the bedroom. No place to put on makeup. It is located on the 2nd floor with no elevator. For the elderly it is very hard going up and down the stairs. But, it was a great place to stay!!

Great Place

Great location, nice pool, and clean place. Cannot say enough good things about working with Harmony. The description is accurate. Henderson beach is 5 minutes down the road. You can rent a bike or golf cart to make it easy. Queen bed and fold put couch were comfortable. My teens complained that the twin beds were hard. The kitchen had enough supplies to many meals. We would stay again.

Snowbird Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent Jan and Feb here. On the positive side, the condo has a great layout, was clean and well equipped. The view of the ocean from the balcony was lovely, my husband's favourite spot. The condo is in a great location, within walking distance of shopping areas and a number of restaurants. We enjoyed the entertainment at Camille's on the corner. On the negative side the condo needs a complete update. The colours are all dark, autumn shades, not beachy at all. The only dining seating is three wooden bar stools that are too high for the counter and two high folding director chairs, which we didn't feel were safe. The rattan blinds had to be rolled up manually and tied with the chord every morning as the mechanism no longer worked. The chair in the living room was dirty and coming apart at the seams. The wooden coffee table was in terrible shape. Kitchen and bathroom taps need replacing.It wouldn't take a lot for this condo to look fabulous. Some light paint on the walls as well as the wooden furniture and dark kitchen cabinets. New blinds, chair and rug. The TV could be mounted on the wall with a dining table and chairs replacing the heavy wooden cabinet. Harmony was wonderful to deal with, but they can only do so much.

Comfy condo just steps from the beach

We really enjoyed this 2nd floor condo. It's literally across the street from the beach access. So we could drink our morning coffee from the balcony and watch the waves. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all of the essentials. But don't expect to do a lot of cooking in the kitchen. There's only a very basic collection of pans and utensils. Also, when we first arrived, I noticed a persistent buzzing sound. Turns out it was a set of external speakers connected to the TV. They look like basic computer speakers. I had to turn them off to get the buzzing to stop. A small sound bar would probably be a better setup and prevent that persistent buzz whenever the speakers are on. But other than those minor complaints, the condo was great and the location can't be beat.

Please adjust thermostat! Would get cold before heat or too hot before air would kick on! Probably differential adjustment. Also check roof on right front slope looks like water mark starting to show through.

Stayed an a extra night

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The two-story Loft had plenty of room for my family of six. Including two teenagers one preteen and a 5 year old. It had enough space to keep them from killing each other. But it was also small enough so we weren't too separated. The balcony was huge and had a partial view of the beach. The public beach access was a 3 minute walk. The kitchen was well designed and it had most of what we needed for the week for cooking. The master bedroom had a television as well as the living room and the loft bedroom. The Loft bedroom had two twin beds and the master bedroom had a full size bed. Are younger children slept on the sofa bed and we're very excited. But they are young. Every room had a ceiling fan and the air conditioner did a great job at maintaining temperature and humidity. The stove is electrical. The freezer had a nice maker. The decor was comfortable and gave an immediate impression we were at the beach, or close to it. Major grocery stores were within 8 minutes away, including a Walmart. I highly recommend this rental for any larger family. We are already thinking about reserving a week for next year.

Enjoyed our stay

Comfortable beds. I appreciated the child gate to keep infant from climbing stairs. Upstairs twin beds were moveable to make more kid friendly. Nice big bar. Loved the outside balcony. Only found very minor fixes needed. We would definitely return for stay.

Perfect as advertised

I had not been to Destin in over 30 years and can't understand why. The condo was exactly as advertised. Close to the beach and quiet which is very much appreciated.

Hidden Gem....

Three things I loved about this place: The price, the location and we all got a good night sleep! The mattress in the bedroom was perfect and the pillows were really good. We were across the street from the beach, a stones throw. It is a really nice neighborhood and not far from the Henderson Beach State Park area. You could walk the beach for a mile in peace. The place is not fancy, but it had everything we needed. j. Great for a quick getaway.

Across the street from the Gulf & lovely

The condo was perfect and within walking distance, as the owner said, to the resort where our other friends were staying for our girls getaway weekend. The beach, however, was a small designated area between two condo complexex. Knowing that no one can own the beach, I just sat my happy A** on my chair at the edge of the water in front of one of them as there were only a couple of people there. It was glorious!

Cozy Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We last minute booked this condo the night before leaving for a trip (obviously a last minute trip). The condo was clean when we arrived and ready for our stay. There are only two things that were disappointing: the wifi was terrible and the condo smelled stale on our first day. The longer we stayed the less the smell there was. We assumed the air conditioning had not been ran in a while and the air was just stale. However, the wifi never improved. I'm a grad student and I had work that I needed to complete while visiting and thankfully I could use my Mobile Hotspot on my phone, otherwise it would have been bad. So keep that in mind before booking. The condos location was great. One row back from being beachfront. If you walked to the left on the beach, there was public access for a while. It was very nice.

Very nice last minute booking

Needed a small place at last minute near the big rentals on Shirah Street. Family in town for wedding. This worked perfectly. Right across the street from the beach too. Did not realize this unit is one of many in a two-story building (like a loww-budget hotel building). Not a big deal - just did not know from the listing. You do hear noise from other units and have people walking right by the master bedroom window, but we were hardly there. Unit is clean, up to date, and felt safe.
