Love the place it has been so nice to be able to talk to the owner directly. Love the house it was amazing can’t wait to come back!!!! Wish we could have stayed longer!

This house literally has everything you need! From toys, games, to kitchen gadgets. The bed we slept on was very comfortable!

Beautiful place, very spacious and clean. lovely decor.Please note if you are elderly or handicapped , The walk way to the beach was great, except there is a huge sanddune at the end of the walkway a hill to climb and steep coming down.we found putting some temporary mats down on the steep side, helped to keep our feet from slipping in the sand. Once you get over the dune the beach is wide and perfect. We had a beautiful sunny week .Thank you Don for a great vacation!

This was the third time we have stayed in this beautiful beach house. It’s always been exceptionally clean and well kept up. We love this area of Holden Beach because it seems very secure and safe. The beaches are wide even at high tide. Some things this house offers that others don’t include the closed in garage, private covered deck overlooking the ocean, very fast internet, and huge well stocked kitchen. The communication with the owner, Don, couldn’t be any better. Look forward to staying here again. Definitely a 10/10.

We had a great time! The house was a perfect set up for our six pack with one room left vacant! Very well stocked kitchen and plenty of room to "move in" for a week. Loved the

Our host Don was fantastic. He had reached out to me the week before our stay to make sure that I didn’t have any questions. He went through the check-in process and I felt very comfortable with all of the information that I was getting from him. The whole process was very smooth.

We enjoyed the beach house with all its amenities and so much space for the 5 of us. This was our first trip to Holden Beach and this house and we hope to be back for our next family vacation. The house was very clean inside and out. The community area is very laid back and quiet. And the beach itself was clean with very few people visiting. The owner keeps in contact and gives clear instructions for check in and how they would like their home taken care of.

We had an awesome stay at Holden Beach in Don’s oceanfront house! It was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was private and the view was beautiful from the back deck! We are hoping to be able to stay here again and again.

everything was great nice and clean kitchen well stocked with pots and pans blenders and coffeemakers loved the covered deck to watch sun rise and set walk to beach nice no steps and beach not crowded

The check in process was not smooth, but we got in fine if a little late. The property was clean and in a great location right on the beach. We enjoyed the house and would definitely consider staying again.

We had a nice week here and overall felt the house was a good value for an oceanfront property. The beds were comfortable, the bedrooms were nicely decorated, and we really appreciated all the little conveniences like plenty of hangers, laundry hampers, kitchen supplies and the outdoor shower. The TV was nice and sounded great with the added speaker, and we especially enjoyed the privacy of the back porch and being able to hear the ocean.The private boardwalk to the beach was a big plus. Just a heads-up for future guests that at the end of the boardwalk you do have to cross a soft-sand dune with some tall grass, so it may be difficult for elderly guests or anyone with mobility limitations, especially while carrying beach gear. There is a beach cart available, which is helpful.The house is older and does show its age in some areas, but everything we needed worked and we slept comfortably. The AC had a little trouble keeping up with the August heat during the evening, but it eventually cooled down overnight.Coffee drinkers may also want to know that there is a Keurig and a small 4-cup traditional coffee maker, so if your family drinks a lot of brewed coffee you may want to plan accordingly.The ocean view is just as pictured—you can see the ocean in the distance, although you can’t see the beach itself. We really enjoyed the privacy of the property and having our own beach access.Overall, we had a good vacation and appreciated having an affordable oceanfront vacay.

Perfect oceanfront getaway!

This home was super clean and super cozy with easy private access to the beach. We loved the spacious living area, huge front windows and porch, and especially the outdoor shower. Good stay and good memories!

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our 2nd stay at Don’s perfect Beach house. Loved the spectacular views with long walks on the beach. Saw dolphins the first day and deer at dusk walking in the dunes. Will definitely be back again.

Love this place

We have been coming here for several years now and we always enjoy our time here! The owner is easy to communicate with, takes care of the property. The house is clean and is maintained well. Everything is updated as needed and very comfortable. We cannot wait to return!

This is our second time staying at this house and it has become our favorite beach destination. It has everything we want for a relaxing and enjoyable week at the beach. It was very clean and organized as before. The location is awesome. Things we love are the covered and private poarch facing the ocean, enclosed garage, fully stocked and large kitchen, very wide beach even at high tide, safe location, not crowded beach, very fast internet, bbq grill. The communication with the owner, Don, was excellent. We are looking forward to staying again soon.

Very happy to hear you liked the place so much! You are always welcome to come back! One big change we made before your arrival...we got rid of the cleaning company that was not doing a good enough job and replaced them with this amazing new cleaner (family business).

Grest communication, nice home

This is an older home, not fancy but really quite beautiful. If you're looking for a nice quiet vacation and a beautiful uncrowded beach this is it. Owner was great as we navigated through tropical storm debbie.

Holden 2023

Great location. Quiet and comfortable and just steps away from the beach. We rested, relaxed, ate good, took long walks on the beach and enjoyed the view from the porch. Loved watching deer and rabbits from the porch.

Annual Family Trip

The property is on the quiet end of the island. The long board walk was very helpful taking our things to the beach. There is more than ample seating for the meals or watching TV. The open face design with the kitchen, dining, and seating allows a family to interact with each other while in the house.
