Two bedroom (2 queens in one br, 1 king br), full kitchen with side by side freezer/fridge, electric range and oven, microwave and coffee maker, blender, all equipment. Full comfy living room with 55'’ TV and free fast Wi-Fi. Tiled bathroom. Newly restored in 2012. We provide towels, all the bedding, and all the comforts of home!

We went for skiing at Bohemia- fully equipped kitchen, clean place with plenty of towels and blankets, and was actually better than staying at Bohemia due to the restaurant options so close in Calumet!

Place was neat and clean had nice furniture we had everything we needed to cook, towels paper towels, Kleenex toilet paper. Everything was there that we needed.

We are so happy with our stay here!!! Property was perfect! Everything we needed. Was clean and cozy! Loved all the windows and sun light!! The location was great as it did not feel far away from all the stops we made all the way up to Copper Harbor. We would definitely stay again!

A Wonderful Stay!

This is the second time we stayed here for a friends’ ski/snowboard trip, and it was just was wonderful as we remembered from last year! Jane was fantastic in accommodating us, and we are looking forward to staying here next year as well!

Wonderful Stay

Clean, comfy, good icecream downstairs. We rode bikes and hiked in Copper Harbor during the day and relaxed and spent time as a family at night. They had a good selection of family games and puzzles for use. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

What a fun and comfortable spot. Our adult children joined us as our youngest graduated from Michigan Tech. The location was great, beds very comfortable and the unit was amazingly spacious. Thank you for the hospitality!

A great time in the UP!

Third year coming up to the UP with our ski/board friend group (although this year was a bit of a bust for snow). We stay here every time, and love the boxcar! It’s a great home base for exploring the area. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Mt. Bohemia ski weekend

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, it’s always very clean and cozy. Plenty of space for a group of 4-6 people. The beds are very comfortable and always plenty of linens. The host is very accessible and helpful. This is one of our favorite places to stay in the Keewanau!

The apartment was great! Super clean and cozy. Plenty of towels, all the dishes we could've needed, even had coffee ready for the coffee pot (so grateful for that)! It was pretty hot during our stay, but the fans provided were a lifesaver. The kids loved being right above the ice cream shop! Jane was really responsive and helpful. Thanks so much for an awesome stay, it made our adventure around the peninsula that much better!

UP quick trip

Great UP Getaway

We love this place and any chance we can to visit our favorite places in the Keweenaw. Sad to not have the ice cream this year, but hoping it will be back soon!

Precious time with mom and dad. PERFECT accommodations for handicapped momma.

Nice for a close family. A large open room- no privacy. The bathroom is beautifully done for wheelchair access, however, the shower needs some grab bars as there are none. Wonderfully supplied with refrigerator full kitchen silverware and even spoces!

Notes this review is NOT for the Upstairs rental, #600770. We switched these folks to the new ground floor accessible South Room (per their request). Thank you for reviewing our new South Room with handicap access. The room is designed to sleep 2 (with a large couch to accommodate 1-2 children as well). Again per request, we placed a queen bad on the floor of the large South Room, to meet the special situation. Thx for the note on the grab bars for the shower; we have now installed those ! So glad it all worked out:).
