Winter Birding Trip

Always a comfortable stay. This was a return trip to the area, I have stayed at Sharon’s Vrbo/unit in the past for birding trips and will continue to return in the future.

Great little place

This condo was great for a long weekend! Great view and so close to all birding and nature spots. The mattress was awesome, we had a little trouble with hot water in shower but the owner was immediately responsive to fixing the situation. My husband, son and I would definitely like to come back in the spring time!

Great Time

We had a wonderful visit. Last minute decision to just get away ! Explored Lake Erie and Marblehead Lighthouse. Condo was really clean with a comfy bed ! Great communication with host !

Another good trip!

Another good trip, the condo is clean, comfortable and a good place to stay! The fishing was good as always a very good time. We really enjoyed our stay. We are already looking forward to next year!

Would definitely stay again

The condo was extremely clean and felt comfortable. The only thing i would suggest is update cook ware, it was difficult to use the pans because others used metal in nonstick pans and they rusted. Other than that i would definitely stay again.

Always a relaxing getaway

We always love staying here. We usually stay in Oct for our anniversary. Typically a very relaxing time. Condo is nice and location is convenient. However, the smaller lake on the property we used to fish in was very overgrown and it doesn't appear anyone is taking care of it. This is no fault of the condo owner but the condo property owner/management. Other than a very loud thumping party/music a few doors down on Friday night, the stay was still relaxing. Will stay here again!

Great Condo

Plenty of room to sleep 4 adults. Has all the essentials stocked and ready: linens, appliances, etc. Very clean. 30’ boat slip w/ direct access to the lake. Can’t beat it !

Nice getaway

I thoroughly enjoyed the location of this condo watching all of the boats come in and out of the canal.. The condo was extremely hot when we entered, and took some time to cool off in order to sleep, but after the wall unit ran for a while, it did cool down. All in all it was a great location with the pool, and nearby beach.

Over expectation

The rooms were very clean and tidy. Layout and furnishings were more than adequate and very well positioned. I couldn’t have foreseen or expected better accommodations.

Fishing on Lake Erie

We have stayed in Sharon’s condo many times and loved the ease of renting and location. The condo is equipped with everything you need. Loved the updated floors. Having a boat dock right out the back door is ideal since we always bring our 30ft center console. Condo is located close to restaurants and stores. Takes no time to get to Port Clinton, if not interested in fishing.

Just what we needed!

Great stay, this met our needs well and we were comfortable. I would not recommend for 4 people, 4th bed is on the very hot porch. 3rd bed would be okay for a child. That said there were only 2 of us so it was perfect. The only improvement I would suggest is a full size coffee pot or even a Kuerig. Thank you!

Small, Quaint Condo

In my opinion, this is perfect for two people. Nice quiet neighborhood. The only thing that I thought was unreasonable was the cleaning fee that's charged with the rental. In the PDF that's sent when arriving, at the end of your stay, you're required to wash all your dishes, put all towels and sheets in the washer, take out the trash and walk it to the community dumpster...and still pay $55 as a cleaning fee. When we arrived, it was clear that the place hadn't been vacuumed so it was really just them putting clean towels out and fresh sheets from what I could tell. Also, a little tip that I didn't notice until the second day. When flushing the toilet, make sure to hold the lever down until enough water comes through - they have it set to only fill the tank half way in the back so it doesn't actually successfully flush without it. I did however, love the location of how close it is to Lake Erie and only 30 mins to Cedar Point (which was the reason for our stay). The nightly rate was great!

Our stay

The property is very well maintained and being on tge ground floor is also a blessing. We are old we and cannot get up many steps. The people are very friendly and we totally enjoyed ourselves.

Girls Trip

My daughters and I picked a central spot to visit some of our favorite Ohio activities. The listing said suitable for 2-4 visitors. There is one queen bed, a twin mattress in the closet for use and a day bed on the sun porch. The sun porch was way too hot to allow anyone to sleep out there. One of my adult daughters had to sleep on the twin mattress on the living room floor. Wasn't what I expected but it worked. Listing said it had air conditioning. The air conditioning was a wall unit that in order to cool the whole condo you had to leave the bedroom door open or the bedroom was too hot. The pool at the condo was a great amenity. It was definitely clean and safe. I would rate it a 4.5.

Hiking trails and bird watching at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area are also nearby. Golf courses are nearby.
