We had a wonderful stay. The home is even better than the pics! Beds very comfortable. They thought of everything and cargo lift is a back saver. Beautiful location and outside covered patio with tv is perfect. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Sandy!

What a wonderful place!

Camp Shoop was such an amazing stay! Not only was everything super clean and wonderfully decorated - it literally had everything we could have ever have wanted and/or needed. One of the very best we've ever been to, honestly!

Amazing Cabin/Home

This was by far the best cabin we have ever rented! Amazingly clean, every amenity we could have asked for, and the neighbors were very welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Second Visit

This was our second stay at this property, we enjoyed our time there. The house is amazing , owners make check in and check out easy. Staying at this house feels like home. We were able to enjoy the river and got warm by the fire at night. Highly recommend for a laid back stay.

Camp Shoop is the best!

The property owners are very nice and their property felt like home. Booking was easy and answered any questions in a timely manner. The house is amazing, spacious and location on the river is beautiful! We will be booking again.

Camp Shoop Stay

We had a wonderful time at Camp Shoop. The home is beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The home sits on a private drive on the river and it is an amazingly serene and relaxing location. We loved it!

Beautifully maintained home! River view/access

Beautifully maintained home- interior is well equipped and very nicely designed/decorated. Everything you need is provided. The owner, Sandy, is great! Quiet location, great stay! Fun kayaking and fishing.

Beautiful log home on the river

Wonderful property and hosts for vacation rental Even though weather was a little rainy, we hiked the nearby trails, antiqued, ate at one of the little bistros in town, took photos of the covered bridges would highly recommend home for small and large groups everything you could ever want is there wonderful location for nature lovers

Great getaway

This was the perfect place to get away from it all but not so far as you can’t get to restaurants and shopping if you like. Downtown Bedford has a bunch of cute boutiques and fabulous restaurants. Golden Eagle was unique and delicious; while Magpie’s had unique clothing/jewelery items at affordable prices. Highly recommend!

Relaxation!!!

Our stay was just what we needed. It was the perfect kick off to summer! I couldn’t have asked for better. We loved cooling off in the river and relaxing on the deck.

Nice quiet and beautiful cabin

Very clean and fully equipped! The most beautiful property. The owner was very gracious and helpful during an unexpected happening at home during our trip. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be going back!

Wonderful getaway

Our family vacation at Camp Shoop was just perfect. The house was amazing and Sandy was so helpful. Her attention to detail and organization made it so easy to relax and enjoy river sitting, kayaking, and campfire cooking. We are already planning our next trip to Camp Shoop.

Beautiful tranquil riverfront cabin

Outstanding property. Even better than listed. Hosts were more than accommodating. Property truly has everything you need or could think of. River levels made river sitting absolutely peaceful and made for great stay. Highly recommended - will definitely stay again.

Short Drive, Big Relaxation

This property was an excellent stay. Furnishings were upscale and cozy. Was like home, but in a cabin. Sunroom overview of the Juniata River yielded great wildlife viewing of Bald Eagle, Osprey, Turkey, Piliated Woodpecker, and other fauna. Host was very gracious and responsive. Would recommend for a Autumn stay for sure.

Amazing!

The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The property was perfect for our family. The hosts made checking in and out so easy and they graciously allowed us to check in early and check out late. We will definitely be back!

So fun to walk up river and easily tube down with young kids. No concerns for safety in the water. Very clean.

Highly recommended!

Camp Shoop is the perfect spot to relax! We very much enjoyed our stay here and would return for another stay in a heart beat. Sandy was very thorough with instruction and information for our stay. The home is very well equipped in all aspects and made us feel right at home. We especially loved river sitting, so relaxing! We fished and loved exploring the river. Would highly recommend Camp Shoop!

It was everything

The property is exactly as described. Our family had a much needed relaxing getaway together. Both my daughters are grown with their own families and we all had plenty of room to spread out and still spend so much quality time together without being right on top of one another. The river was amazing. The firepit with our smores supplies hit the spot. Can’t wait to book again next year.
