Great Location! Close to downtown Fish Creek and Peninsula State Park

If you are looking for a home that is close to downtown Fish Creek but where you can also enjoy the wilderness, come stay in this newer 3500 sq. foot home! It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Bring the extended family because this home can sleep many. (One King Bedroom, 1 Queen Bedroom, 1 room with 2 Queen AND a twin, and also a 4th Bedroom with Two Bunk beds).

It has a Living Room on the main floor with a fireplace and a Great Room with additional seating (huge sectional) with televisions/DVD/cable in each. Free Wifi is also available to guests.
The kitchen is stunning with a handmade wooden countertop (bar seating) and open shelves to easily view and access everything you need to cook. Amenities include stainless steel appliances, coffee bar and an open concept so you can socialize with the cook. The dining room table can sit 10 people.

There is a screened patio area off of the dining room that leads to the backyard where there is plenty of seating for all! There is a gas grill for your use as well as a picnic table, camping chairs and fire pit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying your favorite beverage!

Parking Information:
This is a residential property with a shared driveway and no marked or designated parking spots. Up to 4 guest vehicles are allowed, and double parking will be required to accommodate them. Please coordinate within your group to ensure smooth access in and out.
The property also includes an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), which is a separately rented unit. Parking for ADU guests is located on the far right side of the driveway, and that area must remain clear for their use at all times.
Please note: The garage has 1 stall that is available for guest use and you can park in front of the garage stalls.
Additional parking available downtown Fish Creek, behind the Post Office.

**Please note that this home has a 2 bedroom unit that is attached (not accessible). This 2 bedroom unit is rarely occupied but on the occasion that it is, it is typically for our only personal use. Separate areas are designated (for example: There are two outdoor firepits).

Great property!

Great property with plenty of sleeping room for everyone. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked. Great socialization areas and awesome outdoor space. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Spacious Home

Great time, had a full house for a wedding, nice backyard with a fire pit, accessible parking, convenient location in Door County. Very clean place. Host responded quickly and was very nice!

Great location…

We came to Door County to participate in the Fall 50. The location was great and steps from me of the exchange points. The house was well equipped and a great fit for our group of runners and crew. Everything was as pictured and the outdoor gas grill was perfect for preparing a meal for 10.

Enjoyable stay

The place seemed to fit our family of 15 fairly well. Sleeping arrangements were a little snug, especially the room with bunk beds with a family of 5 (parents and 3 adult children). All in all we enjoyed our stay in Fish Creek.

Great Stay!

This is our second time staying at this property and we loved it. Amazing location and plenty of room to spread out. Carolee is super helpful and quick to respond. Love the big table and outdoor fire pit area. Note: There has been development behind the property and next to the property which isn’t reflected in the current photos.

Fun house and great location

This house has a fun layout for a large gathering! Plenty of space and separate areas for people to hang out. Great location for everything we wanted to do in door county!

Excellent Vacation Property

The property was excellent. It provided space for the family to spread out and enjoy everything the property had to offer. The house was very clean and well decorated. The outdoor space offered an area for the kids to play and for the adults to enjoy the fire. Great location.

Amazing Weekend!

This house was amazing. We went there to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday and had the best weekend. We were close to downtown Fish Creek and Peninsula State Park, and the house comfortably slept all 10 of our guests. With it's beachy decorations, outdoor fire pit & grill and spacious kitchen we would definitely recommend this house!!!

Fabulous

Property was beautiful! Very clean and well decorated. Back yard was very inviting with a grill and fire pit. Huge dining table that worked well for eating and playing games. Well appointed with 2 coffee pots plus a Keurig.

Perfect Spot for Group Get-Away

The accommodations for our group of 11 were perfect: clean, tastefully decorated, well-stocked kitchen with working appliances, and minutes from restaurants, shopping and sight-seeing. The owner was quick to respond to my questions about the property and made adjustments to our reservation when we requested, in advance, to add another day to our stay. I would recommend this beautiful Fish Creek home to other groups our size!

Holiday Stay

This house has a great layout for families, with 2 living rooms - the kids hung out upstairs, and the parents were able to cook and talk on the main floor. Everything was clean and updated, with charming decor. The location across the street from the state park (entrance to the trail system) was great for hiking, biking and nordic skiing. We would love to visit in the summer and take advantage of the porches and outdoor dining areas!

Great Girls weekend!

This home has very nice and spacious bathrooms. We had 15 girls easily get ready to go out to the Trolley Tour in record time. The “sleeps 15” truly means 15 beds for everyone to sleep comfortably, no pull out couches or air mattresses included in the count! Very nice outdoor space, and the kitchen was fully stocked with baking dishes and mixing bowls for cooking!

Nice house overall, but odd unexpected experience.

There was a very scary incident that happened with the resident of the connecting unit late at night. Unfortunately, my party and I felt unsafe our first night there. This situation was out of the host’s control. The hosts did refund us our first night. The house itself was nice, but I would be aware there is a smaller connecting unit attached to this house.

We had a good week

The property worked well for our family. First to arrive did some extra cleaning and it was limited in terms of extra towels, dish rags (there were lots of extras with signs saying "don't use") or a few basic spices so bring everything. Keurig was not working. The outdoor area and back porch are GREAT. Easy access to a great area.

Description of home deceiving.

In your description of your property you NEVER mention that there is an apartment attached. When I rent a home I want it to be a single family unit, not a condo attached where the owners can “drop by for the week-end”. When I mentioned this to the owner his reply was “it’s 2900 sq. ft.” What has that have to do with anything? I know what size of home I was looking for my family of 15. The home is lovely and in a great location but not looking to share after I pay this amount to rent for a week.

Maintenance is lacking

We stayed here in 2022 and enjoyed it, so came back in 2023. Things have gone downhill in the last year. The water/ice dispenser on the refrigerator no longer works. That would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could have come prepared. The beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable, one member of our party slept on a couch all week since it was more comfortable. Sheets and towels had many stains on them and several lights weren't working. It's a nice house in a great location, it's just disappointing that it isn't better maintained.

the freezer dept of the refrig never worked .. no water no ice .. the new ice/water unit installed never worked .. there was a leak in the line .. which was never fixed .. the house was totally cleaned but we were told not to enter until the check in time of 4pm .. problem with people who checked in early .. think it's crazy to sit outside until 4pm

Mini family Reunion

Positives of the stay: -Great location. Very close to downtown Fish Creek and Peninsula State Park. -Great yard/fire pit. Perfect for family nights around the fire. Lots of wood. -Well stocked with necessities. -Pretty clean. -Large common spaces for hanging out. Upstairs loft was great for kids to hang out. -Good amount bedrooms/beds for large group. Things to be improved: -Horrible leak under the kitchen sink that needs to be repaired. Causing mildew/bugs. -It is too large a home to only have 2 bathrooms. While the 4 bedrooms was perfect for our 4 families, 2 bathrooms was tough. -The house is attached to an apartment unit that appeared to be occupied by individuals maintaining the property. While they were nice and allotted our group privacy, it was a bit of an inconvenience. The walls of the home are so thin we could hear one for the occupants of the apartment snoring all night. -the mattresses need to be replaced. They are very uncomfortable.

Difficult to deal with...home cheaply made for renting

We had a group together for a girls weekend. The home was clean enough when we arrived, but there were certainly a lot of shortcuts in the finishing of the home (I.e pots and pans sit in the floor in the cabinet as there is not bottom shelf, trim was busted up in areas). I was totally fine with this until we received a notice for "damages" - there were areas all over the home that were clearly in some rough shape, but it's a rental and we were absolutely understanding of that. Thankful we bought protection as they seem to be taking a bit off the top by claiming damages. Beware - buy protection if you rent here - id imagine they don't track existing damages from new damages as it's clear that they aren't regularly fixing things. You can hear everything through all the walls - even just basic conversation. Girls joined and parked at the home and we took a bus to a trolly tour. I received a VRBO message, a text and a call all within a minute or two and the dialog was less that pleasant for a mistake following house rules that was totally innocent and quickly resolved. Our group went over the top to clean including vacuuming and wiping everything down. Renter beware.

Troy has been building/renting property for over 20 years. We like to say that we are the 'perfect team.' Troy's strength is in the building/real estate area and I like to add that special touch to the home with paint colors and decor. We enjoy working together but even more, we love to spend time with our family and friends.

Troy and I both love the Fish Creek area. We have three children and together we like to go boating, snowmobiling, golfing and camping together. We are family oriented and fell in love with Fish Creek when we visited. It has that small town feel (like we were use to growing up) and it has so many opportunities for family activities. I personally love the beach while Troy enjoys the wooden wilderness. Here in Fish Creek, we can enjoy both…thus the name of our home 'The Treeport.'

This home is unique in that it was built with our own sweat and love for the area. Troy put many details in the home such as inviting lighting, huge deck and cedar accents. I personally decorated the home- with decor that makes you feel like you are in a beach home from the seahorse made from driftwood to the pictures that were purchased from downtown Fish Creek.
